A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 1)

It’s pretty obvious that more murders are going to follow, and the perpetrators will be using the same excuse: “I was afraid for my life. Dude needed killing.”

And they’ll likely get away with it.

This will not end well.

Maybe it signals the beginning of the return of the wild west that so many gun nuts seem to hanker for.

What they seem to hanker for is the resurgence of the White Christian Male dominant culture that they see slipping by them and heading towards extinction on a daily basis.

I’ve been accused of oversimplifying, but I believe it’s ALL racism. Those motivated by greed are so racist-tolerant that it amounts to the same exact thing: they’ve just found a rationale for their racism, but if the it doesn’t bother you enough to influence your vote, then guess what? You’re a racist.

It’s not surprising. When one completely lacks any kind of empathy, the only way one can try to understand another person’s mind and motives is to project one’s own.

I assume the orange shit-gibbon is currently throwing a tantrum, pounding the floor, and turning blue – or at least, temporarily turning a sort of bluish orange:

Nah, what does the OS-G care about some lame-ass federal judge? Gore was a loser, that’s why he lost.

On the other hand, it’s nice to know that there are federal judges who are willing to write these things for public consumption.

Incidentally, this particular judge has been the beneficiary of Republican appointments throughout his entire career: George W. Bush to his current position, and before that, George H. W. Bush, John Roberts, and Ronald Reagan to prior or concurrent positions. I just find that sort of thing delightful. This isn’t partisanship, it’s observation of facts, and probably a whole lot of frustration with Trump bullshit, the same kind that all other judges demonstrated when they threw out Trump’s election challenges.

“Meh - Those are all RINOs, they don’t count” - Today’s GOP

:disappointed_relieved:

This would not have have affected his campaign. Misogyny is core GOP value.

Everything Trump touches turns to shit.

Yeah, but the thing that makes things tough for Republicans and makes it necessary for them to lie and cheat as much as they do is that women now have the right to vote. They’ve had it for quite some time, too, dammit all. And even worse, so do those darkies. It’s not easy any more for the White Man to be guaranteed his rightful place as the supreme but merciful* leader of civilization.

* Unless “in fear for his life”, which is more or less the constant state of mind of the poor beleaguered White Man.

Unfortunately, he touched our country.

He’s like the Uwe Boll of politics.

I think this phrase, pungent though it is, does Trump TOO MUCH CREDIT. Taken at face value, it means that regardless of what Trump intends, it turns to shit. Rather, Trump is deliberately choosing the shittiest of all possible actions and candidates. Generally, they must give him maximum sucking up and maximum hatred against those he feels have wronged him (a long list to be sure).

His actions outside selecting candidates are similarly always, always motivated by what is most flattering, or most financially advantageous to him, even if the long term effect is detrimental. Given these factors, yeah, everything he touches turns to Shit - but that’s because the toucher doesn’t care about anything but his own ego and profit - and profit comes in second to ego.

I don’t disagree. But there is probably a difference in the daily preoccupations of some Trump/Trumpy voters—some fantasize all day long about the White Man getting his proper deference from all who are not White Men. And others fantasize all day long about being granted immunity from taxation by Republican office-holders who have their back.

Some overlap may occur.

I saw the mouseover and knew what that was right away.

Maybe even closer (and yeah, I also knew that it was going to be a Sequential Art reference without clicking).
