A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 1)

Matt Gaetz is in constant pon farr.

“Charlottesville, Virginia (CNN)A jury has awarded more than $26 million in damages to nine plaintiffs after finding the White nationalists who organized and participated in a violent 2017 rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, liable on a state conspiracy claim and other counts.”

It doesn’t bring back Hether Heyer, or relieve the physical suffering of those others affected, including the wife of a Doper.

Don Jr: Do you love me, Daddy?

Trump: Do you love me, Barron?

Barron: I can’t say.

Trump: I can’t say.

Don Jr: posts another embarrassing photoshop of his dad as a wrestler, saying this! this is the one! he’ll see I’m worthy of love now!

How much money are the plaintiffs actually ever likely to see?

Also, recall that one of the avowed goals of this suit was to totally bankrupt and financially destroy the people and organizations who were the defendants. Anybody have any ideas on how successful that will be?

The plaintiffs are going to have to file something on the order (depending on what it’s called in VA) an Abstract of Judgment and a Request for Earnings Assignment. That will enable them to attach bank accounts and other assets, and garnish wages.

There were many reports during the Trump presidency about Melania making sure that Barron spoke fluent Slovenian. Apparently they both have dual citizenship with that country and the USA. And of course Donald has had very little to do with Barron’s upbringing (Melania’s parents had more).

So it would be surprising if Barron felt any emotional connection at all to Donald, really.

Very sad.

Disagree. I’d say he dodged a bullet.

It’s a fair point; it certainly looks as though craving Dad’s approval has been a lifelong issue for Don, Jr. If Barron doesn’t care, he’s likely to have a happier life.

Melania: “The trick, Barron, is to not care. I really don’t care; do you?”

I laughed.

Maybe so did we. Three sickening offspring (and one sickening son-in-law) are quite enough for this country to endure. Let Slovenia have this one.

Can’t wait for Barron’s book. Probably only 10-12 years.

From Barron = no love = dad article:

Just the sound of completely dumbfounded gobsmackery is music to my ears.

Kind of a drag when Barron gets in the news, in that, he’s definitely low-hanging fruit for a target.

Like - I’ll go there - having him on the 2032 GOP presidential ticket with VP Kyle (replacing two-term’ers McClosky / Stella Immanuel)

Tiffany has done a good job of keeping herself out of the news. That alone makes her a lot smarter than her elder half-sibs. Nobody really knows what she thinks of Daddy, or politics in general.

She did show her face at, IIRC, and the Republican National Quasi-Convention.

I thought the Karl’s anecdote about the White House Correspondents Dinner was funny.
When Trump was “going back and forth over whether to attend”, he hadn’t been invited. They didn’t intend to invite him.
Trump was fishing for an invitation that he could turn down publicly. He didn’t get one.

Well, hell, I’d do that myself if they’d let me in. It’d be in the same spirit as visiting Bedlam Hospital so I suppose I would feel guilty. A little bit.

Fifty quatloos on the newcomer!

One hundred quatloos on the survivor!

Rittenhouse should pick Gaetz - more chances to meet girls his own age. As long as he doesn’t mind sharing them with the boss.

I would say Gosar has a higher chance of staying out of prison (dammit!) than Gaetz. You have to look at the long term.
