The dysinformation about Dominion has surely done the company vast damage. Can a retraction like that undo the damage? Will such a retraction actually save them from a huge lawsuit?

The narrative on the front page is basically Fake President Biden is gearing up to make the Hunger Games a reality, and he’s coming for you. It should be shut down. If they want to exercise their freedom of speech, they can scribble this stuff on pieces of paper and pass it out on street corners. But they aren’t responsible enough to be trusted with a megaphone.
Just because something may not be wise to say doesn’t make it untrue. It doesn’t make it true, either: the Galileo Gambit often doesn’t work.
However, I think it’s pretty accurate. At this point I can’t think of anything else that motivates most Trump voters, since he’s horrible in every way even compared to other GOP candidates, so his increased popularity rather than decreased popularity compared to them can only be explained by the only thing he does better, which is racism.
However, it would be more accurate to say “half of all American voters are okay with racism”, because it’s hard to say what the views of people who didn’t or couldn’t vote were.
