A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 1)

And that is called paying the Dane-geld;
But we’ve proved it again and again,
That if once you have paid him the Dane-geld
You never get rid of the Dane.

Rudyard Kipling.

I think it was Chief Seattle who said something like, “My conscience it this three-cornered thing inside my heart. When I do a bad thing it turns and makes my heart hurt. If I keep doing bad things the corners wear down and it doesn’t hurt so much.”

I’m impressed!

Thank You! Now all we need is a woman who both loves to read and thinks Dolt-45 is a pig to play the part of “Belle”.

( How in the world will I manage a casting call for165 million Americans who are all perfect for the part…? )

Heh. Maybe some of the MAGAheads who bought nosebleed seats got upgrades to the mosh pit.

The COVID pit, more like.

US District Court judge throws out tRump’s suit to prevent his tax returns from being released to Congress. He delayed his judgment for 14 days to give tRump time to appeal the ruling, I presume that would be to SCOTUS.

Coulda sworn he already lost that case some time in 2020.

I thought he lost it (like everything else) about 3 times.

Ol’ Rudyard may get slammed (rightly) for some of his 19th-century ideas, but he was spot-on with that one.

Put another way:

I have a vague memory that the previous appeal ruling was “These arguments are dumb. You should go back to lower court and make new arguments.”

While he may not be a Trump enabler himself, I have little doubt he supports the Orange One. Duggar fails to make runoff in Arkansas state Senate primary | AP News

This can also go in the Repubs are Evil thread

Multiple residents from Florida’s Trump-loving “The Villages” arrested for voter fraud (msn.com)

Three Republican voters in a Trump-loving Florida retirement community have been arrested on charges of casting multiple ballots.

Maybe they are so convinced that there was a steal because only a concentrated steal could overcome their own fraud attempts?

For some reason that link goes to a blank page. I found the story elsewhere.

Anyway, these were people who voted in Florida and in some other state. Not the more usual case of voting a dead relative’s absentee ballot in the same state. At least the more usual at being caught. I expect there’s lots more people (including Dems) who do what these were caught doing, but it usually isn’t caught because no one looks for it.

This is so nice I’m posting it twice:

I am basking in the glow of sweet, sweet schadenfreude.

It ain’t schadenough until they have to sell all their big guns to help pay off the judgements.

Those guns have long since been oiled up and buried somewhere.

If they’ve been properly oiled up I can suggest a place they can bury them.

Go ahead! Say it! It’s okay. This is the Pit!
