A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 1)

You had to go to the trouble of finding and posting that link, just to tell us that?

Well, it is the schadenfreude link after all. We need something to point to.

It’s simple, really: she thinks the left’s leaders are idolized by them the way Trump is on the right, so all he had to do was go out there and say “stop,” even as a mere candidate and private citizen, and all the rioters (who were obviously all liberal) would’ve immediately done so, because that’s what right wingers would do for Trump.

Would they though? They followed Trump because he was going where they wanted to go.

When he told them to get vaccinated, they booed and ignored him.

Sort of lost control of the monster he created.

And that’s where your argument fell apart.

Yes, I think I spotted the fatal flaw there.

Needs to be animated to experience it fully (enjoy, @dropzone )

Good call. :+1:

“The party boys call the Kremlin
And the Chinese know
They walk the line…”

Strangely on topic

Trump and spawn have to sit for depositions.

I like the double meaning of “deposed” in the headline.

Correction to the headline: “so-called” judge.

“It’s arguably a circus that she’s [AG Letitia James] done,” the judge said.

Where else would you look for clowns?

“In the final analysis, a State Attorney General commences investigating a business entity, uncovers copious evidence of possible financial fraud, and wants to question, under oath, several of the entities’ principles, including its namesake,” Engoron wrote. “She has the clear right to do so.”

So now they are compelled to appear and testify under oath.
But what if they don’t? Who is going to make them?

Trump will appeal. His appeals will be denied. He will eventually be compelled to testify once and for all. At that point, he has a choice: Disobey a judge’s order, or come to court and plead the 5th.

If he chooses the former, no biggie. Courts deal with this all the time. Issue warrant; arrest.

Remember when we were unencumbered by the weight of all these hustlers and their schemes?

Will Florida recognize the warrant? Or will this just mean the the Trumpkins will just never return to New York State?

And what about Trumps Secret Service detail if he refuses arrest?

They would, presumably, need to avoid any blue state. And, should Florida ever get a governor who was less inclined to protect Trump then it would also become a non-safe zone.

That said, I feel like Trump might need to leap and jump into his depositions on this one. James is, effectively, shutting his empire down by putting him on the hook with his creditors and destroying his financial history. Usually, Trump wants to run the clock out but, in this case, the longer things go the more financial bridges that will get cut down and he becomes even more destitute.

To the extent that he has any chance of winning this, it might be that his best option is to get the court case solved quickly, in the hopes that he can clear his name and prove James wrong.

Of course, that very unlikely to settle out in his favor so leaving the country for a new land might be his best option.

I’m still betting on Turkey.
