A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 1)

AFAIK the Maya Angelou quote was if someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time. This because people can tell you all kinds of lies about themselves, but cannot always prevent their real intentions from coming out through their actions.
The outrageous thing about Trump is that he’s not even trying to hide who he is with his words.

Even though he has the best words.

One of the greatest parts of the Guy Reffitt decision was the subsequent comment from his wife:

“The verdict today is against all American people,” she added. “If you are going to be convicted on your First Amendment rights, all Americans should be wary.”

Yeah. Free speech. That’s what it was.

Wow. Just … Wow.

They feel awfully comfortable assuming that Trump being out of office hasn’t altered the immutable fact that the majority of his loyal fans are still idiots.

And who can blame them ?

He’s not trying to hide his racism and hate, but he is certainly trying to hide his pettiness and insecurities.

I think he is doing it wrong.

I did say “trying”.

And it certainly seems to be working on his followers.

He’s more trying now than when he was in office.

The State Bar of Texas is seeking sanctions against Dallas lawyer Sidney Powell over her failed efforts to contest the 2020 election results on behalf of the Donald Trump campaign.

A petition filed on March 1 accuses Powell of professional misconduct by filing “frivolous” voter fraud lawsuits in four states, making false statements to a court and offering evidence she knew to be false.

Powell “had no reasonable basis to believe the lawsuits she filed were not frivolous,” according to a petition filed in Dallas County district court by the bar’s commission for lawyer discipline.

A complaint against Attorney General Ken Paxton is also moving forward, the Houston Chronicle first reported on Monday. A national group of lawyers and 16 others from Texas have accused him of professional misconduct for filing a lawsuit with the U.S. Supreme Court that sought to overturn Democrat Joe Biden’s election win. The high court rejected the case.

He’s also not even trying to hide his lies and corruption, which he does outrightly in the open.

. . . because her failed efforts failed.

Is the charge against her perjury or just generally being slimy? To be clear, which of the “Canons of Ethics” (or whatever it’s called now) did she violate (allegedly)?

It appears to be over filing lots of lawsuits that were frivolous, that she knew or should have knows were frivolous, or failing to do the expected “due diligence” in preparing the cases, which of course would have informed her that they were frivolous. It’s an ethics violation.

So close…

Just kidding. I’d hate to see anything happen to a beautiful aircraft.

Oh damn, someone beat me to that story. I’ve been trying to figure out which Trump thread it belongs in and am too late.

Trump dying in a plane crash, at these times? Multitudes of conspiracy theories in no time… I wouldn’t want that craziness to happen. Let him choke on a hamberder.

His fans would still make it a conspiracy somehow.

If there is a god, he will survive a stroke, totally paralyzed and mute, yet conscious and only able to blink his eyes.

When Donald Trump dies at the blessed age of 107 peacefully in his sleep, with all his loved ones gathered around his dying bed, his fans will still think that the ghosts of Obama, Gates, Soros and Hillary stabbed him in the back.

I don’t think he has enough to surround a bed post.

…and lie in morse code.

Hey, if Stephen Hawking could do his best this way, Trump can also.
