A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 1)

Meh, 10K, 100K, 1M – doesn’t matter. That fucker is never gonna pay a penny, and nobody will hold him accountable.

My expectation would be that the judge is taking the money directly from Trump’s bank, through a judicial order, rather than patiently waiting for Trump to pay up.

A penny doubled every day for thirty days would be over 5 BILLION dollars. < sticks pinky finger in mouth >

I was going to comment that the Orange Peril still doesn’t have the money to save his 757, still rusting away at a rural New York airport. So, not exactly rolling in it, and with lots of potential liabilities still in the wings.

But, checking up on the rusting heap, it appears that last November (despite apparently missing one engine at last report) it was flown to Louisiana allegedly for repairs and refurbishment. Who knows what will happen, but I did pick up this bit of Schadenfreude: on the way to Louisiana, the pilots of the rusting hulk had to declare an emergency, and make an emergency landing in Nashville.

Apparently the rusting heap don’t fly so good.

Nitpick: There are certainly many parts of an aircraft that will rust; but ‘rusting heap/hulk’ implies the airframe, which is made of aluminum.

OK, nitpicker, how about “rusting” as a metaphor for “rusting, deteriorating, weakening, or otherwise becoming unusable from the effects of time, weather, and neglect”?

During the lengthy grounding of the 737 MAX, a major expense incurred by the airlines was keeping them operationally fit, despite just sitting on the ground. I very much doubt the orange shit-gibbon did anything to maintain his old gilded 757.

Gotta love the old heap’s emergency landing in Nashville! Glad it didn’t crash, though – the orange shit-gibbon was probably all set to perpetrate some really major insurance fraud again if that had happened!

Aluminum is even easier to fuck with. Just spill some mercury on it and you’d be wishing for rust.

It would be nice if the penalty was one ounce of Trump’s flesh every day, doubling each day. 117 ounces the first week, just over 7 pounds.

Portia would like to have a word…

Well, you would once you got the mercury through the oxidation layer (“aluminum rust”?)

Meanwhile, Republican who committed actual voter fraud escapes consquences by…dying.

Hmmm. Same tactic Trump hopes to employ, I expect.

From your keyboard to God’s ears…err, monitor.

Do the ol’ chess board thing, $1 the first day, $2 the second, $4 the third and so on. I’d bet Trump would jump at that but by the 64th day it would be $1.8x1019

Well, I hope he’s learned a lesson from this.

Well, the judge does have flexibility in adjusting the fines.

I believe that if he is forced to actually cough up some real money, he’ll definitely notice it fast.
He didn’t nickel and dime the secret service because he didn’t want the cash.
His whole MO of borrowing from Peter to pay Paul is dependent on at least a little real cash, this is might just be enough to break the camel. Especially when after handing over a couple million in 6 months the judge simply raises the stakes.

He is definitely not going to hand over his books. His accountants didn’t quit because a little fudging will fix them: there are some serious skeletons there. I’m pretty sure he secured loans with properties he told the IRS were worthless. Even Deutsche Bank will be forced to take notice (especially with his paymasters in the Kremlin taken out of the game).

This made me go “hmmmmmm.”

What is going to happen now that Trump cannot count on his buddy Putin to help him out, financially and otherwise? I wonder if the Trump business group is going to go down the toidy-hole.

No, it wouldn’t.
