I just hope that some of the boys who are now charged with seditious conspiracy will be offered deals if they agree to give evidence about which politicians/ political operatives they were in contact with, and exactly what the messages were between them and/or offers made to them by these people.

However, I don’t look for DOJ to move against the biggest fish until after the Committee has formally prepared and made its final report public. I believe that’s due in September.

If these indicted proud boys have any sense, they (or their lawyers) should have kept any documentary evidence of communications between them and their Republican handlers.

I’d probably say “no”, though there are two persons mentioned who seem like they’re still being eyed by the grand jury.
That latter could be Stone or Alex Jones. The former seems unlikely to be either and, according to the New York Times, is believed to be Tarrio’s girlfriend.
Jeffrey Clark. That’s the guy I always forget who should be in this next tranche of seditious conspirators.
Not worried about Stone. He’s gone. I’m not that up on what Alex Jones contributed to this toxic caper, but I hope he gets scooped up, too.
Don’t be so sure. He’s getting money from candidates for his stamp of approval so they can sway the base and win primaries. He’s basically monetized his longtime loyalty to Trump.
Stone will be there (along with cockroaches, Wal-Mart, and Cher) after the nuclear holocaust.

Doesn’t look like he’s getting especially rich. I’m sure he can use the money to defend against the many, many, many crimes he commits on an ongoing basis. I do expect him to be charged as a seditious conspirator for his role in the attempt to overturn the 2020 election.
Will he elude conviction? I have no idea. It really depends on how far gone our democracy is.
On this concern, I would not like to make any bets.

I don’t think Trump is going down for this. If he goes down, it will be the way Capone did. He has so many lackies to jump in front of bullets for him and always gets someone else to do the real work or make important decisions.
But seeing his supporters go down is quite satisfying.
