A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 1)

Gooba gobble goober gobble one of us, one of us!

He says now.

He says now

Fox publishes an article about how the search warrant on Mar a Lago was justified.
As much as I hate linking to Fox, in this case, I think it’s justified.

I am amazed they put it up.

Might we someday look back and see this as the winds subtly but irreversibly shifting? (If so, still not toward sanity — DeSantis is likely the main beneficiary — but notable nonetheless).

Or is it the rats sensing the ship is taking on water?

Or it could be Bradley P. Moss’s last piece with Fox. :slightly_frowning_face:

I took a snapshot of it.

This looks like a good place to post this.

Meanwhile in Australia, Lachlan Murdoch (son of Rupert) and FoxNews are a tad upset at a little publication called Crikey, which has accused FoxNews and the Murdochs of various fun things:

The Murdochs are threatening to sue for defamation. Crikey tells them to bring it on. The rest of us should start making popcorn.

I love popcorn. Bring the butter!

:pulls up lawn chair:

Pass the popcorn!

Near as I can tell that was his only article at Fox, he’s an attorney at some law firm in DC, so this was probably a one off. I don’t think this represents any significant change in Fox policy. I think Fox actively insert 0.5% liberal viewpoints in with the 99.5% conservative garbage to burnish their “fair and balanced” credentials. I’ve seen Tucker Carlson do this a number of times. It gives their viewers the illusion that they are free thinkers just following where the facts lead rather than sheep being led by the nose.

Co-chair of the Donald Trump 2016 presidential campaign in Alabama arrested on felony sexual abuse charges.

Could be life in prison for these two upstanding citizens.

What terrible luck that old Donny keeps trying to get help and they end up being criminals! I feel bad for the poor guy.

From the linked article:

Five defendants were arrested in an FBI sting outside an Ypsilanti warehouse, where prosecutors said the men thought they were going to make a down payment on explosives, pick up free military gear, and then head to Buffalo Wild Wings for free beer and chicken. But it was all a ruse.

If promising them free beer and chicken isn’t entrapment I don’t know what is.

I think Murdoch is kind of done with Trump. They can’t just do a 180, but I think they’ve been slowly shifting since the hearings started airing.

And these complete and total morons are threatening democracy? I do NOT want the justice department or the police or FBI to over step their bounds, but this is just silly.

We are very, very lucky that the threats from idiots like these are what we face. They will learn though. The next batch won’t fall for the ole ‘free chicken ruse’. Gonna have to up the anti to free BBQ.

And republicans want to cut back on education. Ok.
