A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 1)

“Hopefully…” Not “Realistically” (sadly).

But it’s still the idea that a differing opinion deserves censure that pisses me off, even if it’s directed at the undeserving of compassion Moscow Mitch.

I’m glad to hear they are going to get some comeuppance, but not so happy about the lengths of their Possible sentences. Ineligible voters who cast one vote due to a misunderstanding of the rules are looking at 5 years in prison, but these fuckers who deliberately attempted to suppress thousands of votes are only looking at one?

Different states, different laws. But morally, I agree.

The leopards are eating each other’s faces!

From another story-

“Mr. Wohl and Mr. Burkman face similar charges in Michigan, where they were charged in 2020 with intimidating voters, conspiracy to intimidate voters, using a computer to intimidate voters and conspiracy to use a computer to intimidate voters, according to a criminal complaint.”

and

“The Federal Communications Commission last year proposed a fine of just over $5 million for Mr. Wohl, Mr. Burkman and his company, J.M. Burkman & Associates, for apparently making 1,141 unlawful robocalls to wireless phones without consent. An F.C.C. spokesman said on Tuesday that the proposed fine was still pending.”

So their troubles are still going!

Does this mean that these two can not vote anymore?

Trump was in Mesa AZ last month, he spoke at a small failing venue called Legacy Park. As they were losing money hand over fist, they were excited to have a famous speaker and were looking forward to getting lots of money.

This month they have defaulted on their bonds. Looks like someone should have insisted on payment in advance…

Par for the course with Trumpy. You would think these idiots would figure out to get paid up front by now.

At this point I can’t feel sorry for anybody who provides services to TFG without getting the money up front.

Oh, there was no sympathy from me, just like almost everyone else I knew the Fat Orange Baboon wouldn’t pay his bill. It couldn’t happen to a better business owner…who is trying desperately to get Arizona to bail them out because they didn’t pay their contractors and owe about 30 million.

I would post a link, but it is paywalled. The comments are most entertaing.

The problem is Tan the Conman’s supporters love it when he gets away with not paying his bills. They gleefully discuss his business acumen in “strategically declaring bankruptcy” however many times he’s gone belly up. What they don’t talk about is the damage he’s caused to all those who depend on getting paid by the outfits he’s stiffing.

When the moronic supporters of the Orange Peril say they’re in favour of “free markets”, they mean markets where they can get stuff for free. That’s about as far as their thinking about capitalism goes. The Orange Baboon himself doesn’t think about it at all – he’s a congenital misfit and a born grifter.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that they complain they ‘can’t compete’. Well… in a Free Market™ if you ‘can’t compete’ then you don’t deserve to be in business.

Local gossip : A lady was having a yard sale and her grand kids thought they would sell bakery cookies for 50 cents each. A potential customer saw the price and yelled at the little girls that their prices were too high and that they were stupid for even thinking someone would want that shit. She stomped down the driveway before Grandma was able to get to her but not before Grandma was able to see the TRUMP bumper stickers on the car.

Also, someone in that same town dug their old Trump Pence 2020 sign out of their garage and put it up on the main street (well, only paved street, but you get it.)

The privilege of providing goods and services to his royal orangeness should be reward enough. To demand that they actually get paid as well displays rank cupidity on their part.

Indeed! How dare they! They should be sending money to HIM!

It’s possible they already do.

Based on my fuzzy understanding of Trump, that is exactly what he thinks. Just like how adding his gilded name to a building entitles him to up it’s value 30%, if he shows up at your building / event / city, he has INCREASED your value. Charging him for that is insulting.

Previously, I think a lot of his efforts to refuse to pay were more tactical, in that he’d complain and whine about the work done for him and threaten lawsuits until people would settle for a fraction of what they were owed just to get something. But these days? Nope, he’s an untouchable being, and absolutely the peons should pay to be in his presence and provide a stage for his show (in the dust-bunny that passes for his mind that is).

Oddly enough, former Trump-branded buildings in both Toronto and Vancouver have found it greatly to their advantage to send the Trump signs to the dump.

SunLass had a volleyball tournament back in May hosted at Bell Bank Park - apparently they managed to sell the naming rights. It was a pretty nice facility, though a bit short on places for team camps - I think they wanted to sell more food from their vendors to the players and parents.

There were cameras above every court for livestreaming matches, and I asked some folks who worked there if there were a way to watch via the cameras (her grandparents didn’t make the trip and would have wanted to watch via a stream). They looked at each other and laughed. I’m guessing the IT contractor knew they were about to get stiffed and withdrew their services according.
