He’s probably just digging his hole deeper.
Except that he likes the results he gets, mostly publicity and inconveniencing the other side.
In other words, there is a (obnoxious and stupid) method to his madness.
Maybe Jack Smith will be the guy driving the bulldozer that fills up the hole, with Trump in it.
It is now being reported that Kanye West campaign advisor Milo Yianoppolous set Trump up in the dinner with Fuentes. Milo was of the opinion that this would damage Trump and that he would mishandle the controversy. In addition, it seems that Kanye’s sole purpose was to piss Trump off while Nick was droning about how Trump is disappointing his most loyal supporters.
So you had Kanye taunting Trump that he (Kanye) is going to steal Trump’s white supremacist supporters while Fuentes was also prodding Trump to go even more WS.
Great, great stuff:
I have to wonder if Kanye has anyone around him who isn’t using/ manipulating him?
What other reason would make anyone want to be anywhere near him?
Money, but I guess that’s kinda the same answer.
Trying to figure out how this would help Kanye…
I can’t seem to find anything online yet but NBC News Radio* just reported that Pence has refused to endorse Trump for 2024, saying that he will have better options available and might run himself.
*I gotta remember “News” goes before “Radio” there. The streaming audio I listen to while working used to have AP Radio News, thus my confusion.
Here’s a CNN link.
No wonder I couldn’t find it. NBC specifically said “endorse” whereas CNN doesn’t and that’s from last month.
Did something happen today which prompted Pence to be more specific?
Quite schadenfraude-y!
Maybe not the most gigantic chunk out of what he still might have, but surely enough to make him go OOF!
There are some priceless quotes in that article. Like this one:
And then they said you owe a lot of taxes. Took me, like, six hours to find out how much ‘a lot’ was.
Naturally, whenever the IRS sends out an official notification of tax debt by registered mail, this is always exactly what they say: “You owe a lot of taxes. Dude.”
Then our genius added the following:
… he went to the “different CFOs” involved in his businesses to find out if not paying taxes would be tax evasion.
Of course not! Cheating on your taxes is the most legal, patriotic thing you can do. Just ask your orange flag-humping dinner companion!
I’m guessing that the total amount of brain matter assembled at that dinner, all put together, might amount to about half of a normal human. And that Kanye, aka “Ye”, was contributing even less than the orange insurrectionist.
I guess it was yesterday, in Chicago. Nothing about withholding endorsement there, either, though.
Never mind, from 2021
All that proves is his lawyers are insane.
How often has a president’s former VP said they shouldn’t be reelected?
Never mind, was wrong about something…
Something like the reverse happened:
Asked at a news conference in 1960, when Nixon was the Republican presidential nominee, to cite a “major idea” of his that Eisenhower had adopted, Ike famously answered, half-joking, “If you give me a week, I might think of one. I don’t remember.”
