“Just want to keep you in the loop – no guaranty that these will get signed and funded, but we remain hopeful,” John Haley, a lawyer for Trump Media, wrote in a December 2021 email.
“Thanks john much appreciated,” Trump Jr. replied.
I’m not sure it’s a good value, but this is pretty pricey.

As I’ve often remarked, we will know when/if Trump is ever actually at serious risk of facing consequences for his actions because right-wing media will be referring to him as “longtime Democrat Donald Trump”. Ain’t happened yet, AFAICT.

Unfortunately for most of us, he will probably not be handcuffed or perp walked. Unless he makes the request himself in order to further his claims of martyrdom.

A former president being arrested for such a tawdry crime as paying off a sex worker is beyond embarrassing for this country. I’ll be very curious as to how Republican lawmakers will react to this. Dead silence would be my guess, with a select few harpies shrieking around the edges of the boiling cauldron.
As for demonstrations, don’t underestimate the number of loyal asshats that are out there just waiting for a call like this, and most of them carry weapons.
