We all knew he was lying when he said, on Saturday, March 18, that he was going to be arrested on Tuesday, March 21.
Turns out he is going to surrender himself on Tuesday, April 4.
Finally, something he predicted is actually happening in two weeks!

These are a few of my favorite things about this.
First, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and the Grand Jury did not wait for two weeks, although that would have been quite the jab.
Second, his backers in Congress, in their attempt to interfere with an ongoing criminal investigation, likely sped up the process.
Third, Tan the Conman’s stunt of announcing that he’d be indicted this past Tuesday riled up his supporters, some of whom proceded to make criminal threats against the DA’s office. The only way to distance himself from those threats is to admit that he knew his blathering on social media would have this effect.
These are a few of my favorite things.

What I saw on reddit was a screenshot of a tweet by CNN claiming 34 counts. I’ve never used Twitter, and was pretty tired / about to go to sleep so I didn’t really feel like digging around for the original tweet. I did do a quick google search on how many counts there were, and the top google result was an article that said “more than 30” so I figured close enough.
That’s why I included the disclaimer that it came from reddit, which I thought implied the grain of salt without mentioning it. (As I said, I was tired and was looking for the fewest words I could put in the post to convey the information.)
On a side note, I didn’t mention CNN because for all I know the screenshot on reddit could have been altered or fabricated. But also because…have we lost faith in CNN? Didn’t they go conservative somewhat recently?

Is this hilarious, or am I just laughing at everything today? I don’t know. 
Would I seem ungrateful if I were to express some displeasure that it’s unfortunate that the Stormy Daniels/business fraud indictment happened to be the first one to drop? I really wish it could have been one of the more consequential crimes that he committed in broad daylight. Stormy Daniels would have been fine for a second or third indictment but is disappointing as first salvos go. I realize these prosecutions and their timing have not been coordinated, but it would have been better for the rule of law and public confidence to see one of his federal crimes prosecuted first. Garland shoulders much of the responsibility for that.
That said, at least TFG is facing some form of formal accountability, and for that I guess we should be grateful.
