I believe the Toxic Masculinity Manual allows acknowledging superior height in one’s own son, especially one fathered by a near-60-year-old. The older and flabbier you get, the more manly it is to be able to point to a biological son as an outstanding physical specimen of young-manhood. (Can’t check the cite without going down to the landfill to try to retrieve the book, sorry!)
Outside of factualities of height or whatever, I don’t think it’s appropriate to discuss Barron Trump. To my knowledge, the kid has never done or said anything in public and - for all we know - might eventually show himself to be the second coming of Mr. Rogers.
Until the point that he deserves to be smeared, I don’t see any good thing coming out of smearing the guy or attributing any particular opinions, thoughts, or behaviors to him that aren’t based in clear evidence.
Every family has a black sheep. Maybe Barron will be the black sheep of the Trump family. Maybe he’ll be intelligent, thoughtful, caring, self-reliant, kind, and non-judgmental.
My hope is that he spent the entirety of Trump’s term in office carefully observing how fucking stupid the rest of his family is. As crazy as this all looked to us, this kid had an insider’s view of it all.
They already have one, that’s Tiffany Trump. She’s a legal research assistant at Georgetown University and has her Juris Doctor degree. She’s an academic who mostly stays out of the public eye.
(That being said, she did make appearances at her dad’s campaign events, and spoke publicly at the 2020 Republican National Convention, so it’s not like she isn’t at all involved in her dad’s destruction of the country.)
Their degree of pissedness is so strong that it propagated backwards in time causing them to ostracize him 9 months before he took the action that pissed them off.
According to AL.com, the Avondale Brewing Co. Facebook and Instagram posts announcing the show were met with more than 1,000 comments, most of which lambasted the venue’s decision to book the controversial musician.
“Lose this show or lose my business,” wrote one person, while another chimed in, “I will never spend another dollar in your establishment. Grotesque that you would book such trash. Do better.”
At least eight of the Georgia Republicans who served as “alternate” presidential electors in 2020 have accepted immunity deals with the Fulton County District Attorney’s office in exchange for their testimony, according to the lawyer representing the group.
Unfortunately, Gov Kemp will soon be signing legislation (or maybe already has) that will allow him to get rid of DAs who do things the GOP doesn’t like. I have a feeling it won’t be long before this whole Trump election tampering case in Georgia gets buried.
