Page 32 prevents Rudy from giving an opinion on the law, which effectively forbids him from discussing a lot of Fox News topics. This won’t help his income.
Also, if he has legal retainers… I’m sure there is some deadline/process by which they are refunded?
I suspect that the “process” is you get another lawyer to sue him, and he gets a real lawyer to defend him while he tries to invoke the First Rule of Acquisition.
Depends on the state - it’s apparently all over the map and rather confusing to me looking in from the outside. California for example does not extend reciprocity to anyone. Other states will extend reciprocity only to certain other states, not all of them.
To my glum friend from Texas who had just accepted a job in CA and was studying for her second bar exam in eighteen months, the former seemed far more onerous than the latter .
Rudy can (and will) appeal, but I’m guessing that continuing to spout off about election fraud - i.e. the very thing he’s in trouble for - will not help that appeal much.
I must admit that I’m deeply intrigued to see how the Detroit suit pans out (not to mention the Dominion suits). Powell getting sanctioned all over the place for blatantly lying to the courts would be schadenfreuderific.
The Manhattan district attorney’s office has informed Donald J. Trump’s lawyers that it is considering criminal charges against his family business, the Trump Organization, in connection with fringe benefits the company awarded a top executive, according to several people with knowledge of the matter.
If the case moves ahead, the district attorney, Cyrus R. Vance Jr., could announce charges against the Trump Organization and its chief financial officer, Allen H. Weisselberg, as soon as next week, the people said.
