Well, yeah, I knew Saskatchewan was flat, I just hadn’t connected it to the ‘dog running away taking 3 days’ joke in the first line of the theme song-- I thought at first it meant that small town life was so boring, a story about a dog running away takes 3 days to tell.
Maybe I should have posted my little epiphany in the “Obvious things about a creative work you realize after the millionth time” thread 
I got a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in college. One of my favorite professors, who taught life drawing, said he developed an excellent instinctive sense of perspective from growing up in Kansas.
