Same reason we remember “I could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue” or what he said on Access Hollywood, or “how about injecting bleach?” Some of the many, many idiotic things he has said have staying power. His apparent glee in passing a dementia screening test is quite funny. And telling. (and we have only his own report that he did in fact pass.)

Yep, it’s a hilarious video. It’s also such a stupid fucking thing to brag about. He thinks he’s talking about something super impressive, and he’s so proud of himself.
It’s comedy gold.
The real question is “Did the doctors tell him he did really well on a very difficult test, and he was dumb enough to swallow it, hook, line and sinker, or did they treat passing the dementia test as a routine thing and he blew it up into inventing relativity?” I’d go with the latter.
I always figured one of his handlers, tasked with getting him to go in for the routine checkup, blew it out of proportion to stroke his ego.
Knowing the uses the same book has been put to in the last 2000 years, I’m most certainly NOT surprised.
So, I guess he gets a pass on the 3rd commandment or it’s no longer in effect, or something.
More likely they were truly flabbergasted he actually passed that test.
Plus, it didn’t hurt when the hilarious (and attractive) Sarah Cooper lip-synced the incident in a YouTube video.
Yeah, this. He could have quoted the actual words used, and it still would have been funny, because this test is insultingly easy for anyone who isn’t cognitively impaired. He fundamentally doesn’t get what was being tested.
So many of his other idiotisms just fade into the background noise of stupid, but sometimes, one is so singularly stupid, it rises from the swamp to become a shining beacon of slime.
Yep, it’s like that other iconic moment, when he posed with the table full of fast food in the White House. He genuinely thought that was a great moment, and he was just so proud.
I’m sure the real movers and shakers in NY real-estate, the group that Donald desperately wants to be a part of are quietly snickering behind his back. Like they have done for years.
I often wonder what happened to the ‘left overs’ did he give the team to-go bags?
