Fantastic. It’s funny how he looks a bit lost and out of it and maybe too old for reading from a teleprompter, and it turns out he’s just saying “what the actual fuck did these assholes do?” in his head while he tries to figure out what happened to his speech.
Agreed, it’s amazing how context completely changes the way something looks.

Is it a real hunger strike where they will waste away? No, of course not, it’s a tantrum and only lasts until they’re really hungry. But I could totally see Trump stubbornly refusing to eat for a while, and if you’re used to seeing the guy toss back Big Macs and fried chicken by the bagful on a regular basis you might be concerned by the sudden change.
Trump is over on his personal soapbox called Truth Social trying to explain that he really meant to call Obama the current president many times because of reasons! He totally meant to do that.

As soon as I saw the words arrested for assaulting his girlfriend, I was thinking, “Did he grab her by the you-know-what?”

Chris Christie, of all people, mentioned something that I admit I hadn’t thought about.
If Trump is convicted on any of these felony charges, he will be unable to cast a vote for himself.
Which made me think of something: if Trump is remanded to house arrest, will he be allowed to vote? And, ironically, I assume it would have to be voting by mail. Which he absolutely loathes.

He doesn’t loathe voting by mail. At least if it’s for him - that was one of the ‘brilliant’ things they did last time. They wanted/encouraged seniors with mobility issues to vote by mail if they couldn’t get out of the house but that flew directly into their campaign against voting by mail.

No, he doesn’t. During the 2020 campaign, I received mailers from the shitstain himself imploring me to vote by absentee. Apparently it was my patriotic duty? There was a pic of him pointing at me.
I don’t think he does. After all, he voted by mail.
