Don’t know that I’d call that “dissention”. Sounds to me like the head of the AZ GOP knew that Kari Lake was poison and had no chance in the general election; he offered her a job to keep her out of the election. He wasn’t publicly dissing her; he was working for the good of the party.

While the image was genuine in that it did not show a fictitious moment, if, or to what extent, it received at least some digital editing before publication was unknown. Ethical photojournalists typically do not enhance their photos with noticeable edits, whether it be with color or shadowing. Wow, the balls on this guy. “You can’t trust a Senator who can’t keep their bribes quiet!” Dude, she did keep it quiet, you had this conversation with her almost a year ago.
Is there not some manner of mandatory reporting requirement for politicians to say that when someone tries to bribe them they should tell law enforcement about it? What is Lake’s excuse here for waiting until a recording surfaced? She thought he was just kidding? Yes Lake, you’re a real hero for turning down a bribe and then forgetting that it ever happened until it was on the news.
I was surprised no one suggested that Habba might have gotten the juror sick on purpose. I would not put it past her.
I think the rub is that she was being offered money to not run. She didn’t hold office and she wasn’t being offered money to act in a certain way once she was elected.
So what’s the crime? Certainly not bribery of a public official or public servant, since she wasn’t one and they were trying to convince her not to be one.
Pete Navarro is set to be sentenced today for defying a Congressional subpoena. I wonder if Trump will even mention him at all.

Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA), who got the expression “d–k pics” entered into the Congressional Record during a verbal battle with far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), cut right to the chase about the Democrats’ strategy.
“We’re calling out their bulls–t like every single time, and I think they’re surprised by it. I think they’re not used to it. And I think that we are causing them great embarrassment,” he explained.
That strategy, and lack of success by Comer in leading the inquiry, is reportedly making the membership sour on his machinations.
I just saw a headline that said Peter Navarro has been sentenced to four months in prison.
