Republican lawmakers didn’t nominate Trump. They couldn’t stand him. Republican voters nominated Trump. Once Trump was clearly going to be nominated, that’s when Republicans who hated him suddenly pretended to love him, because they wanted part of that sweet MAGA action.

(Don’t think I am defending Republican lawmakers; on the contrary these populist sociopaths will point in whatever direction the wind blows as they watch the country burn while they sip Scotch and smoke cigars.)
FYI: Lurking around far right messsage boards its clear that this is going over like a lead balloon. There is near universal agreement that they will never ever touch Budweiser or any other Anheiser product ever again despite what Trump says.
This is encouraging in that it indicates that they are smart enough to recognize a sham paid endorsement for what it is, But on the other hand its also discouraging that they are standing their ground on such a stupid thing. Given the way they are vilifying the company, one would have thought that they had been found to have boiled children to brew their beer instead of there being just one single instagram promotional post to a target audience which was immediately retracted, apologized for, and the people responsible sacked.
Heinz does. I’ve got a few before, when I’ve ordered room service. They’re shaped like tiny little Heinz bottles, only holding 57 ml (coincidence?), or 2 oz. And they do pop when you open them.
I’m sure that Trump would go through at least two or three at each of lunch and dinner, if not more.
Yeah, and they were never going to watch football again after Colin Kaepernick took a knee during the national anthem; now they’re rooting for the 49ers to beat Taylor Swift.
It seems like not much hay is being made over the trump White House pharmacy’s casual dispersion of drugs, considering the noise made about the little packet of coke.
You’re not kidding. Scandal after scandal, any one of which would have the potential of sinking any other person just didn’t affect Trump. I will admit to suffering from outrage fatigue. Trump would do something I knew should piss me off, but it happened so often all I could do was acknowledge he was wrong and shrug.
We don’t need outrage, we need resolve. Ignore all the bullshit, there’s nothing you can do to stop it. Just resolve to vote against the bullshit every chance you get.
Its about the beer can with the trans woman, followed by several weeks (or was it months) of Right Wing and social media fanning the flames of outrage. At this point I’m not sure that most of them remember why Budweiser was bad, only that its evil incarnate.
Because they use rice in their beer, for one thing. Bud/Bud Light has always been proof that the majority of beer drinkers in the country are morons with naugahyde palates. The flap over Dylan Mulvaney just means they’re bigoted morons as well. Who knew?
Considering his water bottle technique, I figure he doesn’t have the coordination or manual dexterity to open those without looking like he fell into a cart full of tomatoes
Also, probably makes him feel like a big boy to open a bottle like a real adult
