Sadly, this is because guys like him, and especially him, don’t ever seem to suffer consequences for their actions. Nothing equal to their bad behaviors, anyway.
And, case in point, this just in-- the bond has been reduced. FUCK.
AND he’s been given 10 more days to raise the reduced $175 mill. Why the fuck do the courts keep cutting him breaks??!?

This at least makes a bit of sense. He hasn’t had a chance to find a source for the lower bond, and it would be the heights of hilarity if the court was to reduce his bond, but not give him any time to even try to pay it.
Now, come next week, when no one will front him even the lower amount of cash, we might see something.
If his appeal fails, he’ll still have to pay the original amount anyway. Right?
They might rule that he did commit fraud, but that the cost was lower, so maybe not.
Unless, if he still can’t come up with it, the courts reduce the amount by more than half again, and give him another 10 days to come up with it.
What is the point, even, of making these judgements against him in the first place, if the amounts are reduced and the deadlines extended every time he whines he can’t meet them?
I imagine he’s also hoping he’ll win his appeal. At the very least, trump is a master of dodging or delaying consequences seemingly infinitely.

Well, shit. I’ve been excitedly looking forward to Monday all weekend, and then so happy to open this thread with so many new replies. First I find out that today is not when they start seizing, today is the deadline to pay and tomorrow is when they start seizing. Super disappointing, but I can wait another day. But now they knocked $275 million off the tab and gave him 10 more days. Mo-ther-fucker.

Everything that happens around Trump is unprecedented (my most hated word). Predicting what will happen in any situation is pointless. It will not be what you expect and will most likely favor Trump. Maybe someday the unprecedented result will not favor Trump but it’s pointless to predict that. We are living in unprecedented territory. Did I say it’s all unprecedented?
