Hmmm…if you overlook the sailor suit part, the Stay-Puft marshmallow man does bear an uncanny resemblance to what a ghost version of trump might look like (complete with fat stubby fingers)…
I’ve often wished he’d get hit by a truck. Does fantasizing count as praying?
Not to mention the terror dogs do remind me of Stephen Miller. And poor Dana did have a pretty rough time of it.
i heard it as “prey”.
“The Purge: Trump Edition”
Possibly coming January 20, 2025 to a mob near you.
They aren’t putting Corinthians second. It wasn’t second Corinthians, it was two Corinthians. Most people just get one Corinth but since Trump is special he gets two.
Reminds me of David Letterman, who once long ago, in a Top Ten list of Fun Things to Do in NYC, included, “Check into a Times Square hotel and open the Gideon’s Bible; look out the window and check off the Ten Commandments as you see them being violated.”
As with Trump’s June 2020 photo-op appearance at the church across the street from the White House, I’m a little surprised the Bible doesn’t burst into flame at his mere touch.
You and me both. I’d rather shove my face into a nest of angry wasps.
But I do think Trump should continue to run on this nonsense. The – what is it now, 28%? – of Nons are a rather underappreciated voting bloc. I expect we’ll come out in force to vote if we feel our rights to continue as Nons is threatened with potential new laws requiring us to pray.
He won’t need a new law, he just needs to keep being himself. “Oh God, when will this end?” and “Jesus Christ, not again!” are technically prayers.
I long to hear the prayer, “Goddammit! Get me out of here!!”
Maybe when he gets confused in his speeches, he’s really just speaking in tongues. I think he should employ that as an excuse and go all in.
This may have been reported in another thread, but Mike Lindell’s (My Pillow) company in Minnesota has been evicted from their building for owing $200,000 in back rent. Ya know, Mike, there’s an old saying about not sticking your dick in the crazy. Did you really think there would be no backlash? You know, like nobody buying your crappy products?
From Witness for the Prosecution:
“My lord, may I also remind my learned friend that his witness, by her own admission, has already violated so many oaths that I am surprised the testament did not leap from her hand when she swore on it.”
People in cults will literally kill themselves if the cult leader tells them to.
Destroying your entire business is peanuts.
Some other fun news recently:
At NBC: https://www.cnn.com/2024/03/26/media/nbc-news-ousts-ronna-mcdaniel/index.html
And in Arizona: https://www.cnn.com/2024/03/27/politics/kari-lake-defamation-lawsuit-richer/index.html
Good to hear. I can’t imagine WTF they were thinking.
Wowwww so just because the anchors didn’t want to work with somebody who tried to literally overthrow the government, she loses out on an incredibly lucrative prestige role? So much for progressive tolerance.
First they came for the traitors, and I said nothing…
Whoever hired that bitch should be terminated for bad judgment.
The guy in charge took responsibility, so – him.
Didn’t he say it was a group decision, but as the boss he accepted responsibility for it? I think that’s what he said and I’d like to know who the other people in the group are, but I reckon I’ll die of curiosity on that.
