  1. Is there a federal judge in Manhattan a Trump appointee? That is the only reason I can think of for the PAB to want to move the trial to a venue where, according to him, he cannot gat a fair trial.
  2. What, exactly, is their argument that the hush money payments that Candidate PAB made are tied to President PAB’s duties, when they were made before he was president?

It’s about as independently created as that letter from his doctor that Trump flaunted before the 2016 election about how fabulous his health is. I doubt those lawyers did much beyond toning it down a bit before submitting it.
