2008: Obama/McCain
2012: Obama/Romney
2016: Clinton/Trump
Seems a lifetime ago, doesn’t it?

That was the one (2012, that is). Ohio got called for Obama, Karl Rove lost it on-air, saying that some Ohio county still outstanding was going to bring it all home for Romney, and Fox took their cameras down to their projection operation.
Of course, no one talked about the math of it all on the air, so it ended up as just a little pissing match. Still happy to see Turd Blossom get his comeuppance, though.
Yeah, one of those is not like the others.
I still have that episode on my DVR. Jon was on fire that night. And “math you do as a Republican to make yourself feel better” is one of the all-time greatest quotes.
Everything before 2020 seems like it happened on another planet.
Trump does have an immigration policy in the works. UFC style fights!

15,000 go in, only one comes out — and is immediately deported.
I read the article but still… fucking what!!!
Edit: there are supposed to be question marks in with those exclamation points but the board auto-formats them out.
Oops, yes, the Obama reelect in 2012.
That’s because 6 punctuations went in and only 3 came out! (Seriously, 3 is Discourse’s limit?!?)
Discourse is a punk about punctuation.
I also found recently that it has a 10 character minimum length of subject lines.
“But actually, it’s not the worst idea I’ve ever had,” he continued.
I guess that is technically true.
Speaking first to a crowd of conservative Christians at a Faith & Freedom Coalition gathering in Washington, D.C., Trump said he shared the idea with Dana White, president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
[…]
The suggestion drew laughter and applause from the crowd, a response that continued as he spoke more about the concept.
I guess it is futile to ask for an explanation of what a “crowd of conservative Christians at a Faith & Freedom Coalition gathering” is, is it not? I probably don’t want to know.
It’s not a crowd. The proper collective noun, of course, is a hypocrisy.
Nobody can ever trust Fox News, and I am one of them
Among the many superpowers of the Orange Genius is his command of the English language. This sentence would normally be considered grammatical gibberish, but in the hands of a master, it readily communicates the fact that the Orange Genius is saying that he’s a nobody.
I am leading BIG in virtually every other poll
(Quoted by @Smapti above)
The Orange Genius ventures into further grammatical innovation. Normal mortals cannot use an adjective (“big”) to modify a verb (“leading”). The correct phrase, of course, also previously innovated by the OG, is “leading bigly”.
ETA: Sorry about the typo – it’s now established convention that Important Words must have leading caps, and VERY important words must be all-caps. So, with apologies, the Orange Genius is “leading BIGLY” in all polls! With the sole exception of the ones where he isn’t, which don’t count.
I wonder if that counts as an Escher sentence.
I thought OG meant Original Grifter. And isn’t the convention used by the Original Grammarian (“Nobody’s ever heard of Grammar before. Strong men with tears in their eyes come up to me and say Sir!!! Thanks for CREATING grammar! for we big strong men. MAGGATS!”) the more important the blather, the more misused punctuation?
I find it quite fitting the only other language that article on Wiki is in is Russian.
