A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 2)

Damn. Mariah is on the prowl, and I can’t get to the brain bleach cupboard.

???All she wants for Christmas is you???

Will the stains come out of the cushion, or will they just triple spray it with Fabreeze?

I hear Vance has an unusual stroke.

Gawd, I never want to have sex again.

You may be right. I Assume everyone is familiar with the White House Correspondent’s dinner where the President is ‘roasted’ and is given the opportunity to zing the press back. Well, Trump is the ONLY President not to attend. Why? You can bet it was because he finds the idea of people laughing at him (good natured or otherwise) completely appalling. He has NO sense of humor about himself. Then again, what pathological narcissist does?

Plus, Obama roasted Trump at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner in 2011.

Watch Obama roast Trump

Probably contributed to Trump’s fixation on undoing everything Obama did.

He has NO sense of humor. Period. I challenge anyone to find a video of him laughing out loud. Not just smirking or chuckling (meanly) - truly laughing. I think his funny bone is broken.

He does make jokes, but they are mean spirited, cruel, and ALWAYS at someone else’s expense. And you’re right, I can’t think of a single time seeing him peal out with genuine laughter. At best a snide chuckle or derisive snort.

Since Tan the Convictman is the standardbearer for the outfit that wants to turn America into some odd version of medieval Christianity, I figure this thread is the place to mention this.

Paul Dans, the director of the Heritage Foundation’s controversial Project 2025, is stepping down amid intense scrutiny of the conservative blueprint.

Kevin Roberts, the president of the Heritage Foundation, confirmed that Dans announced he is leaving his position.

“When we began Project 2025 in April 2022, we set a timeline for the project to conclude its policy drafting after the two party conventions this year, and we are sticking to that timeline,” Roberts posted on X.

Our Cartoon President gave us a great summary of whether or not Obama has any regrets:

Trump is scheduled to speak at the National Association of Black Journalists today.

Well, he was scheduled… apparently he’s going on strike because he demands the NABJ not fact-check him during the speech.

This is still developing as I type these words…

Just for the record, the whole interview was very internally dividing for the NABJ -

So it was a clusterfuck (being the Pit, I’ll say it!) from the beginning, and at best an attempt to appear open minded, but anyone who expected actual journalism to be allowed by Trump… oh boy.

Shame on them if they don’t simply announce “The event is cancelled because Mr. Trump decided to chicken out.”

Or we canceled it because Trump admitted he can’t answer questions without lying.

Best case scenario ensued: Trump melted down so badly that his campaign called an early ending to his participation - as in, during the event Trump’s campaign pulled Trump from taking any more questions 25 minutes early.

Somebody is starting to realize that he’s either going to the White House or going to prison, and that the latter is starting to become a lot more likely. He’s becoming more and more unhinged …

An 11-minute supercut which is absolutely superschadenfreudelisticexpialidocius of Trump doing worse than Biden did at the debate:

Obviously. You’ve seen his hair…

When he does the accordion hands, I’d like to see the whole crowd raise their hands and try to keep in sync with his. See how long it takes him to notice.
