Furniture and TV – love it! Reminds me of the last scene of The Jerk.
And, apparently those assets include $2 million Rudy claims Trump owes him for legal fees. I don’t have high hopes for collecting that from Trump but it would be satisfying to see any of the money leapfrog Rudy and go directly to the women.
I live in PA, so this really pleases me. These guys kept fucking around with the elections and machines and whatnot while moaning about “stolen votes,” and now they’re finding out. I just wish the penalty was higher.
Laura Trump is receiving a fair amount of backlash and ridicule for a music video she’s released.
I started to listen to it and thought at first, that’s actually not bad, she has a good voice. Then I realized no, she’s not singing, that’s another person who can sing, a competent singer. (Not an amazing singer, she has a generic voice, but she’s fine.)
Then it got to Laura and… Wow. I got some Rebecca Black vibes, except at least Black had emotion, Trump is just flat. It hurts to hear, especially in a duet with an actual singer.
In the spirit of Republicans and Trumpists and their exemplary moral standards, allow me to introduce you to yet another example that is so typical of the species, one Ralph Shortey. From Wikipedia:
A member of the Republican Party, he was elected to the Oklahoma Senate in 2010, defeating several challengers in primary elections, re-elected in 2014 and served his term until 2017. During his tenure, he established a Republican consulting firm. Shortey was the state campaign chair for Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.
So what’s the problem? Wherein the Schadenfreude? Wherein the commonality with so many other Trumpists?
On September 5, 2017, a federal grand jury indicted Shortey on four federal sex trafficking and child pornography charges, involving both the March incident and videos that Shortey was accused of distributing from his cell phone in 2012 and 2013. Shortey pleaded not guilty to these charges …
… On November 19, 2017, Shortey reached an agreement to plead guilty on November 30 to one count of child sex trafficking; the prosecutor agreed to have the child pornography counts removed. Shortey was jailed immediately after pleading guilty on November 30 and faced a sentence of at least 10 years in prison, with Judge Timothy D. DeGiusti to decide in 2018 …
… Jailed since his guilty plea, Shortey was sentenced in Oklahoma City federal court on September 17, 2018, to a total of 15 years in prison, and 10 years of supervised release.
If Trump is elected, I fully expect this fine gentleman to apply for – and to receive – a full pardon. Along with the Jan 6 insurrectionists. They’re all part of the great and beautiful Trump Family™.
I came across this guy while flipping through some time-wasting police bodycam videos, one of which featured police visiting a motel room where our pal Shorty was holed up with a minor. I looked up more details when it was mentioned that he was an Oklahoma state senator.
So help me god I hate to do this, but it’s Lara, not Laura.
If we’re lucky, maybe we’ll get to hear her sing the National Anthem at a ball game.
She’s only singing a range of about 5 notes.
Yeah, not a lot of expression in her singing.
Nobody knows what her first name is anyway.
Im predicting a milli vanilli in her future…
ISWYDT
Would you like to rephrase that?
Ha!
That was brilliant!
Did anyone have “every confession is a confession” on the melon felon verbal scavenger hunt? (The link is to Yahoo; the bolding is mine.)
‘Are You Seriously This Stupid?’: Legal Minds Nail Trump After Fox News ‘Confession’
Donald Trump on Sunday tried to defend himself from the criminal charges he’s facing in the election interference case ― but experts say it sounded more like a confession.
Trump on Fox News bragged that his poll numbers go up every time he’s indicted.
“Whoever heard you get indicted for interfering with a presidential election, where you have every right to do it, you get indicted, and your poll numbers go up,” he said.
He just fucking confessed to all of his election-related crimes.
Probably part of his official duties.
According to him, throwing out the election was an official duty of the vice president, not the president.
A good interviewer should be able to trick him into confessing all kinds of stuff by flattering him.
“Mr Trump, is it true than only non-smart, unstable geniuses are able to collect huge bribes from enemy countries?”
There’s an even better way to do it. Insinuate that Biden is a genius for all of the money that he got from China, and insist that Trump could never accomplish anything like that.
Yes, that’s very good. The possibilities are endless!
And speaking of confessions from his supporters:
FBI Arrests Marine Veteran After He Self-Published Book on His Role in Jan. 6 Riot at Capitol
Marine Corps veteran Nathan Thornsberry hoped a self-published book might shine a sympathetic light on the violence that shook the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Now, it may land him behind bars.
Thornsberry, 42, from North Branch, Michigan, was arrested by the FBI on Aug. 22 on multiple criminal charges, including assaulting law enforcement, stemming from his alleged conduct during the deadly Capitol breach, the Justice Department said in a release.
Semper Fi to what, you “stable genius” traitor?
