The right-wing hypocrisy over this is crazy. I watched a little Fox news to see how they are taking it and they have lost their minds. They think Trump should have the same protection as Biden, and more! There should have been dogs patrolling the golf course. There should have been police outside the perimeter. Roads should have been shut down. How could this have happened?! Hey, I’ve got news for you. You are living in America. The fully armed and loaded country you made.
Then they started whining about the poor people who were golfing with him. They shouldn’t be subject to fear of being shot. No they shouldn’t, but they should also not be subject to fear of being shot at the grocery or a nightclub or their kid at school. But as some on your side have said - “Price of Freedom!” Thoughts and prayers, though.
It would be icing on the cake if this is how the guy defended himself in court. “I’m not an assassin, I’m just a regular American, exercising my God-given right to carry this here assault weapon with me everywhere I go. Don’t you know it’s dangerous around here? Trump told me there are immigrants eating cats! Oh, you know what else Trump said?
