Part of the reason we even have judges is to rule on things that fall into the cracks of the laws. In this new world of heavily interconnected social media, I think we need a judge to have the guts to rule that “stochastic terrorism” is a thing. That anyone who regularly and systematically says things that rile up the craziest or stupidest people on the internet, and get them to do things like issue threats, are committing an offence. “But I had no idea that could happen!” should no longer be a viable defense. We all know it can happen, we all know it does happen, and as a society, we don’t need to keep pretending otherwise just to coddle the worst people in our society.
Trump ally Laura Loomer goes after Lindsey Graham: ‘We all know you’re gay’
In a fiery social media post on Thursday, far-right provocateur and fervent Donald Trump ally Laura Loomer took aim at South Carolina U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, a fellow Trump acolyte, calling for the senator to come out of the closet. Graham has said he wasn’t gay.
The post, which came in response to Graham’s recent comments criticizing Trump’s provocative style, has put a spotlight again on longstanding rumors about Graham’s personal life despite his previous denials.
“Lindsey Graham has never been loyal to President Trump,” Loomer wrote on X (formerly Twitter), adding, “When is Lindsey coming out of the closet? We all know you’re gay, Lindsey… and that’s ok.”
I guess “Lady G” thinks coming out of the closet would hurt his career.
It would, though. He couldn’t get the MAGA vote if he was gay. Understandable self preservation, if not commendable.
There are people who don’t already know Graham is gay?
