A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 2)

Yes, that was just great. Thanks for that.

But how much crap this time you gonna swallow?
You’ve been warned, you’ve been warned…

He’s so vain, he probably thinks this song is about him.

Oh wait. It is. He’s won’t understand it though.

Too many big words!

But he has the best words!

I know not everyone in a rural state voted for him, but for those that did, they will have to reap the whirlwind. Hopefully they learn the right lesson.

Naw, they’ll just find a way to blame the libtard Demoncrats, because their tribe can never be wrong…

I guess all of that MAGA crap they’re buying is going to double in price after their Messiah imposes tariffs on Chyna.

If they were capable of learning the right lesson, they wouldn’t’ve voted for the melon felon this time.

Does’t that mean his and/or his wife’s profits from their China-made stuff go up?

Speaking of his wife. I wonder where she’s going to be?

Trump Tower, baby! Where her son is staying while going to NYU. She’s pretty much said that.

Abstinence makes the arm grow stronger.

This really reminds me of Mary MacArthur. But her son, going by his family’s tradition going back generations, won’t be in the military.

At his age, and his clear difficulty with something as simple as opening a door, I doubt Trump has hands steady enough to hold the tweezers he’d need to properly satisfy himself. (I suspect even his baby hands are too big for the nubbin.)

Rudy Colludi on video saying he doesn’t regret defaming Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, and repeating “I did not defame them”.

Can another lawsuit be far behind?

Funny that former lawyer Rudy unhesitatingly stepped right into it.

Someone tweeted the following:

The people in my autism parenting groups who are just figuring out what gutting the Department of Education is going to do to their kids, after they voted for Trump. Whew, chile. It’s a whole lotta, “They can’t do that, right?” Nah, bro. They can and they’re gonna.

On a similar note, I’m going to be warning my parents that they had better pay damn close attention to what the Republicans attempt to do with Medicaid. If either or both of them has to go into nursing care, their “plan” (such as it can be called) is to divest of their assets and throw themselves on the mercy of that program. I’m debating on whether to be blunt with them and let them know that I am not shouldering the financial burden for their long-term care based on their decision to burn everything down.

I’ve seen a tweet a few times today on social media where a woman claims her husband’s company, in MAGA country where she thinks most of the employees are Trump supporters, won’t be giving out end-of-year bonuses because they need to stock up on non-domestically sourced inventory before Trump’s tariffs go into effect next year.

Maybe apocryphal, but I could see something like this happening.

Redditor spotted.

Found a Reddit thread where people are posting that there are multiple versions of this story. I thought it seemed apocryphal.

However, part of the point of the story is that many Trump voters don’t understand how tariffs work. And they don’t understand how tariffs may hurt them–higher costs, less disposable income, and various other downstream effects like US vendors being able to raise their prices and retaliatory tariffs on US exports.

I know that part is true. Last week I had to explain to a coworker that a tariff was basically a tax paid by the US importing entity and is certainly passed on to the consumer. This guy had no idea. He really believed Trump had been getting billions from China directly for the Treasury and would do so again.
