A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 2)

Those offhand remarks were six years ago, and he didn’t actually do anything of the sort. Yes, he will absolutely oppose sensible gun control laws, as he always has.

I assume the first one is Trump (who AFAIK has five kids by three women). But who’s the Baptist minister?

I think it’s Herschel Walker and Raphael Warnock.

I think Walker has 5 kids, not sure.

But in searching that I found…

And now I’ll have nightmares.

OK, thanks.

Hershel Walker in charge of a missile shield. Idiocracy looms closer.

Sounds like he should have shielded his own missile.

Hopefully his staff will keep him distracted with shiny objects.

The real question for Walker will be whether the missiles should be filled with holy water, to take out vampires, or silver dust to counter the nation’s werewolf enemies.

Those strategy sessions will definitely be something for the history books.

You think there will still be books?

Coloring books!

Unfortunately by law all the crayons are white, which takes a lot of the fun out of it.

A post was merged into an existing topic: Misread Thread Titles

It’s been bugging me so I figured I’d ask: what is the difference between this thread and the Leopard one? Aren’t they both kinda on the same subject?

This thread is, IMO, more about Trump enablers with power who use that power to gain more power and riches, and who get thrown under the bus when Trump is done with them. The Leopards thread is more about Trump voters who are getting what they voted for. Yes, there is overlap.

Spot-on for my thinking in making both threads.

Yeah, that’s inevitable. But there’s definitely more of an emphasis on ‘clueless and/or stupidly-vindictive* voters’ in Leopard, and on ‘enablers who actually thought they’d get ahead in some way if they helped Trump’ in this one.

Both are admittedly mean-spirited. But when people make such irresponsible (and usually self-serving) choices, it’s tough to feel sympathy for them.

*‘stupidly vindictive’ referencing those eager for Trump to hurt others, while foolishly believing he wouldn’t hurt them, too.

Sometimes the jokes write themselves, don’t they?

Well, they made their choice, so when they get the unsurprising results we shouldn’t be amazed. I’m sure there won’t be any outrage or protests from the MAGAettes over this.

I’m not sure if this is the right thread for this one of not. But really, if there was ever someone who was riding for a huge fall, it’s this guy.

He’s an undocumented immigrant who thinks Trump is going to be good for him.If there is anyone who deserves what is about to hppen to him, it’s this guy.

When you have a Christian nationalist as the speaker, do you expect to have any women in leadership? That goes entirely against what they believe. They don’t want women voting, don’t want women elected, and definitely don’t want them elevated to higher leadership roles.

Well, you see what happened the last time they let a woman have a position of power. She betrayed and ::gasp:: investigated them!

That’s what happens when the DemoNcrats are un charge. Nothing but a ton of picking and eating of evil apples!
