Well, he’s already normalized makeup for men…
Pro athletes have used eyeshadow for decades.
Trump is one of the most litigious individuals in the country. But it sounds like he was joking.
Now you’re letting cool reason get in the way of outrage. That will never do!
I’ve seen him insult people, but I don’t recall ever seeing him joking.
Could anyone honestly be expected to believe that a man who has been involved with an estimated 4,000 law suits was seriously suggesting he doesn’t know what a subpoena is.
Well, there’s joking, and there’s lying. With Trump, I’ll go with the latter in every case.
True dat.
Penn Jillette has talked about this, and it’s one of the few interesting things about Trump. While working with him on Celebrity Apprentice, Penn says he never saw Trump laugh in a way that was not unkind. He laughed at people, but Penn claims never to have seen Trump laugh at a joke, or tell a joke. He thinks the man has no sense of humor. Sad, if true.
I made the same observation way back during the original primary season. He seems incapable of simply enjoying anything unless there’s some cruelty in it.
His followers believe all kinds of bullshit.
Don’t forget, that he’s the most targeted president ever, never in the history of this country has anyone been subject to this kind of harassment. This is an unprecedented witch hunt.
The idea that good old straight-shootin’ Donald Trump, the fabulously rich stable genius everyman that loves this country with all of his heart, the idea that he has ever been subjected to something like a “subpoena” in his perfect life is absurd.
Yes, I honestly expect his cult to believe that without hesitation, and so does he when he implores them to do their patriotic duty and open their wallets to help him fight this injustice.
This seems a good place for this:
Trump to face a ‘sprawling racketeering indictment’ in Georgia: report
According to Lowell’s report, “In the Trump investigation, the Fulton County district attorney, Fani Willis, has amassed enough evidence to pursue a racketeering indictment predicated on statutes related to influencing witnesses and computer trespass.”
The report adds that computer trespass charge, “prosecutors would have to show that defendants used a computer or network without authority to interfere with a program or data, that would include the breach of voting machines in Coffee county, the two people said. The breach of voting machines involved a group of Trump operatives – paid by the then Trump lawyer Sidney Powell – accessing the voting machines at the county’s election office and copying sensitive voting system data.”
This goes way beyond his “perfect phone call”.
‘What’s the big deal? I’ve been saying all along that he was someone who got Coffee for me…’
I think the funniest thing I’ve seen Trump do, there was some kind of all-hands meeting at the White House, and he told Reince Priebus, the chair of the RNC who helped get Trump elected, to go kill a fly that was buzzing around the room.
Of course, humiliating his biggest ally in front of a gathering of VIPs wasn’t funny, but the unswerving devotion of his cadre despite his abuse was.
A man who worked as a politically appointed State Department official in former President Donald Trump’s administration was convicted Thursday of charges that he attacked police officers during the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021.
U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden heard testimony without a jury before he convicted the former official, Federico Guillermo Klein, and a co-defendant, Steven Cappuccio, of assault charges and other felony offenses stemming from the riot at the U.S. Capitol by a mob of Trump supporters.

It’s the gig economy. The man lost his cozy government job!
Don’t know where to put this, joke thread?, so I’m going here. AI does DJT and Hotel California.Donald Trump Sings "Hotel Magadonia" (An AI Parody of The Eagles' Hotel California) - YouTube
Heh. Pretty good!
This could go into the Mar-a-Lago thread, but since it involves his supporters (lawyers) experiencing Trump’s well-known payment practices I’ll post it here.
Trump is scrambling for cash because his Florida lawyers are ‘holding him up for money’
[P]olitical commentator Molly Jong-Fast pointed out that the former president is in dire need of cash due to the growing avalanche of legal problems he’s facing since leaving office…
In particular, she noted that the lawyers representing him in Florida… are pressing him for money…
“We’ve seen the reporting, especially those Florida lawyers with the security clearance are really holding him up for money.”
Who could have known that lawyers want to get paid?
