Hundreds of luxury models from Porsche are suddenly unusable in Russia. This is reported by, among others, the Moscow-critical publication ‘The Moscow Times’, which operates from exile in Amsterdam, citing various Russian media sources.
Hundreds of Porsche owners are complaining about ‘engine failures and fuel supply blockages,’ writes Auto Motor und Sport. ‘The problem affects all models – every vehicle (from Porsche) can be blocked,’ Julia Trushkova, service director of the Russian Porsche dealer Rolf, told the Russian media company RBC.
The reason for the system failures is believed to be the satellite-controlled Vehicle Tracking System (VTS), a type of electronic anti-theft device controlled via satellite. They are also trying to jam the Ukrainian drones flying into their oil deposits and raffineries, which sometimes are close to cities. If Ukraine can jam the jamming, the drones come through. If Russia jams the jamming of the jamming, the cars don’t drive. If Ukraine then in turn…
