The U.S. Department of Homeland Security on Monday accused Hilton of canceling reservations of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, agents at its hotel in Minneapolis.

There are videos on social media of protester types making very loud obnoxious noise outside of hotels/motels where ICE agents are known to be staying, during very early morning hours. Drums, vuvuzelas, rape whistles and so on. A decision to not serve ICE probably has nothing to do with morality and is simply meant to preserve the goodwill of the majority of customers.

A resolution to leave was approved by the Washington National Opera’s board of trustees on Friday, according to a statement the opera provided to The New York Times.
“Today, the Washington National Opera announced its decision to seek an amicable early termination of its affiliation agreement with the Kennedy Center and resume operations as a fully independent nonprofit entity,” the statement said.
