A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 3)

That’s probably a good prediction.

The Detroit auto worker who heckled Trump last month will be keeping his job.

May his example inspire millions.

Being in a union is a good thing.

Imagine trying to sell Ford vehicles in this country if they fired or disciplined that guy.

Blackwater founder Erik Prince has been captured by Congolese rebels while leading a mercenary force supporting the government.

I don’t want to feel schadenfreude about this. And yet…

I do. He’s genuinely one of the worst human beings on the planet.

Yeah. He’s an extremely nasty person who has done plenty of harm. Schadenfreude away.

Oh I know. I’m just trying to be a better person. Although he’s a pretty easy person to be better than.

Only Kim and Putin are worse. Though they are way smarter.

Huzzah! More bungling by his hand-picked lawyers.

Endless buffoonery appears to be the order of the day!

It’s like that old Star Trek Mirror Universe episode, where it’s commented that civilized people can act like barbarians, but barbarians can’t fake being civilized. The Trump Administration is headed by a fool and full of fools, and fools can’t fake being smart. Endless buffoonery is inevitable in an administration full of buffoons.

And, as I’ve pointed out many times before, Mirror Universe Ted Cruz even has The Beard.

I live in Southern Africa. My home country is Zimbabwe, whose asshole government has been supporting the Congolese militarily and inevitably economically, in exchange for mining contracts and bribes.

Prince is the amongst the worst of the worst neo-colomialists. I’m anti-death penalty, but for Prince, a truely evil man, I hope he gets life.

Congolese prisons are going to be interesting for the rest of his sad life.

To be fair, I’m not sure any lawyer could have brought home an indictment for what is pretty clearly constitutionally permitted free speech. And that’s ignoring the get out of jail free card members of Congress have.

To be more fair, if he had any interest in staffing competent, ethical lawyers (ha!), they wouldn’t have brought the charges in the first place

Another fuck you from the Trump administration: Vance explicitly recognized that the Armenian Genocide happened, but that’s insulting to the authoritarian government in Turkey. So Vance has removed the post. Inconvenient history never happened, again.

It also shows the depth of this maladmistration’s incompetence.

Have your trip itineraries - have your social media posts & press releases - vetted by people at State before you do them so that you can decide on the right message your actions will send.

Acknowledging the Armenian genocide is always going to piss off Turkey - and now withdrawing publicity of that acknowledgment is going to piss of Armenians. Net effect is that you’ve pissed off everybody because of the ham-handed way you’ve handled it, turning what, with a little finesse, could be at least a zero-sum outcome into a negative-sum outcome.
