A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 3)

“I have to sort my spam.”

I remember seeing a bald guy say, ‘I’m sorry. I have to wash my hair,’ in response to one Trump thing or another.

I caught a glimpse of this as I exited the thread after posting. I had to come back to make sure it was ‘spam’ and not ‘sperm’.

Honestly, I never cared for M.A.S.H.

Just bangers?

Wasn’t Nigel Farage also mentioned in the files?

Well, yeah. Who doesn’t like a song that kicks ass?

“I’d like to kiss you, but I just washed my hair.” - Bette Davis, The Cabin in the Cotton (1932)

If so, I missed that. Maybe Epstein was too ashamed to be seen with him.

I looked it up and yes he was mentioned, but only as discussion of British politics. Steve Bannon mentioned him, apparently.

I’ve always used “Sorry - I’ve got to rearrange my sock drawer,” as my “I would not be caught at this lame-assed (likely corporate) event” excuse.

Another excellent example.

From Bored of the Rings: “I have to close an arms deal in Tanzania or pick up some copra in Guam, I forget which.”

The Hill: Pam Bondi thought grand jurors were stupid. They showed her a thing or two.

Can’t find a cite offhand, but IIRC the grand jury voted unanimously not to indict.

Rolling Stone: Isaac Hayes’s estate has reached a private settlement with Trump over the unauthorized use of “Hold On, I’m Coming” at campaign rallies.

The Hayes estate should have also offered permission to use this song.

Hell, what Trump really should be using as an Issac Hayes song is “Stinky Britches”.

When you choose to whore out your state to the trumpist regime, make sure you get your payment up front.

The construction costs of “Alligator Alcatraz” will not be reimbursed to Florida by the federal government. They’ll be damn lucky if the feds graciously choose to fund its operating costs.

Not keeping his side of deals is something that Trump has been known for for literally decades. But pattern recognition is apparently just that weak for a lot of people.

Maybe this time will be different!

Helpful hint: No, it won’t.
