A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 3)

Dean Wormer: Son, drunk, extremist, and incompetent is no way to go through life.

Flounder: It is under Donald Trump!

And THEN he throws up on Dean Wormer

Swastikar owner says he’s lost $70,000 worth of business because of his vehicle.

Dude says his Swastikar is the best truck he’s ever owned which makes me doubt he’s ever owned a truck before. Or at the very least makes me doubt he’s ever owned a truck he used for work purposes which is an odd thing to say about a dude who owns a roofing company. I will say that nobody should harass or threaten someone for driving a Swastikar. That crosses the line.

Making Nazis miserable is always morally acceptable.

I admit ambivalence. On one hand, making Nazis miserable is always acceptable. I encourage it. On the other hand, threatening them for what they drive is too close to ‘She was asking for it! Look how she dressed!’

Driving a Tesla indicates that you either agree with Elon or, at the very least, don’t care that you’re financially enriching him. It should be as publicly unacceptable to drive one as it is to literally paint a swastika on the hood.

It depends on what he’s doing. Around here, the guys who own the company or go out and get sales and the crews doing the actual work are separate.

The ones hauling the shingles and tools usually have a trailer hitched to a working truck. The guys overseeing the work may have a truck but it wouldn’t usually have to haul that much.

I don’t have much sympathy for him. He doesn’t have to drive one for his business. He’s aligned, whether he admits it or not, with the side that says people can discriminate against businesses for any bigoted reason. Discriminating against Tesla owners falls way fucking low on the my priority list of stupid reasons to shun a person or business.

Yeah. A lot of people will buy a fancy truck or SUV for their business but don’t use it for the actual work of whatever it is they do. i.e. They don’t haul equipment with it, carry tools, etc., etc. It’s just a nice way to get a vehicle and claim it as a tax write off.

Cool, I suppose you’re going to give me the money to replace mine?

It was 2018, nobody knew he was a Nazi.

“I’m poverty stricken.” I’m sure that’s the same excuse that that Dumbass Stephen Colbert uses when he speeds in NJ with his.

Somebody throw a penny at him.

Yeah, I’d never buy another, but I like the one we own currently.

Did anyone know he was a Nazi prior to hooking up with Trump (and I mean that in every meaning of the phrase)?

Heck, I’m willing to bet that there’s a whole helova lot of people who don’t associate him with Tesla any more and only think of Xitter and Doge when thinking of him.

Yeah, and I hear the Panzer IV is good in snow.

Someone (Sheryl Crow?) sold their Tesla and gave the proceeds to NPR. I’m not sure all Tesla owners could make the same grand gesture.

And now it’s 2025 and you do know, so you have no excuse.

This Presidents Day seems fitting. Flooding, freezing, inferno in Wyoming tunnel, measles outbreak, plane crash (but that was in Canada).

I read this and was unable to find any meaningful online reviews for a “Blue Angel Roofing” in Atlanta. I assume he’s just another grifter hoping to drum up sympathy business from fellow fuckwits.

What should they do, sell it? But whoever buys it will also be a Nazi by virtue of owning a Tesla, so by selling it to them, @echoreply will be actively helping a Nazi, which would be even worse than merely owning the Tesla themselves.

No, selling it to a NAZI will be taking a NAZI’s money and letting him have the priviledge is driving the swashtika around.
