My wife has a t-shirt she wears to protests with this on it:
I want one! Who sells ‘em?
Right on! And they’re going to vote Republican next time, too.
I think they realize that they need some time to convince MAGA to enthusiastically turn out and vote for the man they’ve been denouncing as a murdering rapist / raping murderer for the past six months. It’s kind of a long shot but it sounds like the Dems might have a chance in November if they don’t.
Can the Dems just replay the Republican attack ads? Or are these attacks specially protected for use against fellow R’s only?
Thanks!
Think of the money saved!
I’ve got that on a sweat shirt. Gonna be hot on Saturday though.
Crawfish industry in Louisiana is hurting due to a lack of seasonal foreign workers.
In Louisiana, the need for crawfish workers has strained an industry that is a symbol of state pride and frustrated Republican officeholders, many of whom broadly support Trump’s hard-line immigration agenda but say their pleas for more legal laborers have gone unanswered.
“People have built businesses around these workers and this year we can’t get them,” said Alan Lawson, who runs a crawfish production facility in the rural town of Crowley. “This industry would not exist without it because the American people don’t want to do the jobs we’re offering.”

Gosh, maybe you should have thought of that before supporting DJT and his anti-immigrant crackdown.

They’re like 1950s teenagers playing chicken in their daddy’s hot rod Lincoln. They lack the perspective to understand the ramifications of their actions. I was planning on going to Louisana soon just for crawfish.
Maybe they should change their marketing approach; do it like orchards and similar places:
“Come pick your own crayfish.”
Maybe if they advertise it like when you go to a patch and pick your own pumpkins, they might get some people to show up.
A crawfish maze; with gators down the wrong turns. The mind boggles.
Not sure if it’s just a reuters thing with no preview.
A little info would be nice.
Usually I do, but everything’s explained in the URL.
That’s old news, isn’t it? The latest news is that the GOP there tried to reverse it with a referendum, but didn’t get enough votes to put it on the ballot.
