Last night we were watching the national news broadcast and there was a piece about how the watch party outside the stadium for this game was cancelled and there were all kinds of extra security bullshit fans were going to have to put up with because the orange assface wanted to show up for it.
I turned to my husband and said “I bet all those fans hate his guts right about now.” QFT, it seems.

BOSTON, June 8 (Reuters) - A federal judge on Monday struck down a $100,000 fee U.S. President Donald Trump imposed on new H-1B visas for highly skilled foreign workers, concluding that it constituted an unlawful tax Congress never authorized.

Ran into this short YouTube video (2 minutes long) where CNN reports on Trump walking out on the interview. What I find interesting, and Schadenfreude-worthy, is that they flat-out call him a liar because of what he said in the interview. They don’t say he was spreading misinformation, or mistaken, or providing his own version of the truth; no, they don’t mince words and call him a liar.
It’s not often that you see a major news organization willing to go that far, but they did.
And here is the (now 8 days old) article that CNN referenced in the video. Headline is that Trump lied. It just makes me happy when the press takes the gloves off and tells people what’s really going on, without using weasel words.
Unfortunately, this won’t change his talking about California elections at all. He gets an idea into his head and it never dislodges. No matter how many times he’s been corrected, called a liar, whatever.
I don’t care about that, and don’t expect it. As long as the media is properly calling him out on it. So often we gripe that they are too scared to actually tell it for what it is, but sometimes they do.
