While I can never consider an opportunity to point and laugh at the America-hating fuckstick a complete waste of time, I can’t help but worry that this wig thing is largely a distraction from the many ways that he is driving us over a cliff.
They’re not that clever to be able to predict how people would react. He’s just always been vain.
He enshitifies (literally in some cases) everything around him.
Everything, even the serious stuff like the Iran war, is a distraction from some other serious shit, like the economy, or the cabal of pedophiles that apparently comprises the Republican Party, or any number of other things. At this point, we’re just pointing at the latest outrage du jour. It’s impossible for anybody normal and sane to stay focused on any particular thing, unless it’s their job to do so
Sure. And we’re not going to forget another unnecessary war in the Middle East. Or the damage to the economy. Or the loss of our international standing.
What I’m saying is that it’s basically a big Gish Gallop all the time, and wondering if any single thing in particular is a distraction is pointless. Everything is a distraction. The non-serious stuff like the wig. The serious stuff. All of it. Except for Epstein.
And they hope they can keep galloping around long enough to avoid consequences.
“Well, in our country,” said Alice, still panting a little, “you’d generally get to somewhere else—if you ran very fast for a long time, as we’ve been doing.”
“A slow sort of country!” said the Queen. “Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!”
I don’t think it’s a wig. He had sparse amounts of hair and I believe he goes to great pains to get it arranged in such a way that it looks like a full head of hair. An illusion that vanishes whenever wind blows on him. Anyway, either they didn’t have enough time and/or product to get it looking “correct” or they’re at a point where they have to get more creative and more crazy to cover it up.
Or maybe he’s trying to look like Robert Redford because he caught an old film of his on cable or something.
That he wears a wig, ok, people do that for varying reasons I guess. But that fucker thinks he’s fooling people. He’ll deny it’s a wig. He’ll probably become enraged when asked about it, which will happen, and I hope it’s filmed.
What he has on in that picture might be something they slapped on him, sure. There are clearly times (even recently) where he isn’t wearing one, but maybe they have some kind of toupee to put on when he’s having a tough time maintaining his usual clown hair.
People, for example, is discussing the controversy.
You know…it’s not just Trump, though he’s a particularly egregious example of it, but I always marveled at bald men who didn’t want to draw attention to their baldness but would then do the most ridiculous things to hide it, defeating the purpose
