A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 3)

I didn’t know Trump was trying to build another ballroom in Ireland. If it wasn’t for those pesky snails!

In February, planners approved the ballroom on the condition the Trumps submit a snail restoration plan.

A 1/6 insurrectionist staged a white supremacist demonstration in Minneapolis… and wound up getting beaten up by a counter-protestor dressed as Spider-Man.

How many time will Jake Lang get his ass beaten publicly before he learns to stay down?

There’s got to be an SNL skit in there somewhere.

ooh, love that dude in Ireland, doing the lord’s work for sure. thanks for sharing!

Spins a web any size, catches racists just like flies.

He’ll raise money off this without a problem. The best I can hope for is that he continues to drain the bank accounts of MAGA idiots.

I am not advocating for this behavior, but I still think this report is appropriate for this thread.

FEMA crew skips houses with Trump signs.

I mean, if I were a public employee tasked with visiting people’s houses to discuss federal disaster relief services, I’d be not unreasonably concerned that householders displaying Trump signs would be more likely to shoot me on sight for being some kind of “jackbooted thug” or something.

I don’t endorse FEMA employees neglecting their duties in that way, but it’s not like the only possible explanation for it is just pure unadulterated spite over political differences. Trump supporters have officially embraced a paranoid delusional worldview, and talking in person to delusional paranoiacs (who also have a higher likelihood of firearms extremism) while paying unsolicited visits to their residences can be pretty dangerous.

They should have done it Trump’s way and skip whole states.

Yet another example of the stable genius at work, ‘punishing’ the ‘blue’ states. If someone told the Orange Asshole that he received more votes in California than in Alaska, Arkansas, Idaho, Iowa, Mississippi, Kansas, Montana, South Dakota, North Dakota, Utah and Wyoming combined, his tiny little useless brain would explode.

There’s a certain amount of schadenfreude in this:

From the item:

As for why “Trump Avenue,” the neighbourhood is called “Central Park,” and the streets are named for things in New York City. I guess that Trump, being a New Yorker, somehow got included when the neighbourhood was being planned.

Please please please please let them name it Biden Avenue.

Obama Avenue would sting harder I think.
If the current mood in Canada allows for naming streets for people from the USA.

In most places it is considered a good idea not to name anything public after people who are not yet dead. Waiting a decade or more has proven time and again to be sensible advice.
As for stinging? Loser Boulevard. Or, if it is in a francophone part of Canada, perhaps Visage-de-cul Cul-de-sac. Would take a while for him to understand, would be fun to watch. I can see a sketch made out of someone patiently explaining it to him, ending in: “No, I still don’t get it.”

I just wanted to point out that if there were German communities in Canada, Arschgesichtsackgasse would also be a funny name.

If that neighborhood is specializing in NYC placenames, I suggest renaming the street for a different New Yorker whom Trump really hates. Possibilities: Attorney General Letitia James, or writer Kurt B. Andersen, the Spy magazine founder who helped coin the epithet “short-fingered vulgarian” for Trump.

Hillary Clinton is somewhat associated with New York.

Hell, just name it Clinton. If anyone asks, just say it’s after Henry Clinton, the English commander during the American War of Independence.

How about “Orange Julius Caesar Lane”?

I remember, in the bad old days of Apartheid, the Washington, D.C. City Council named the street on which the South African Embassy was located after Nelson Mandela.
