But it isn’t their looks, is it. Not the one nature gave them, anyway.
Interestingly, there’s a wiki page for it.
She grew a few years older, and she decided she’d rather look like anything other than a normally aging human being.
I saw that and thought that must be a Photoshopped image. No one could purposefully do that. Then I thought, no, she must have some sort of condition. From what I can tell, the condition is bad plastic surgeon. And, there are plenty of shocking photos.
Here’s a little gallery that has been shared on social media (in this case, Facebook):
They’re in a cult. When you’re in a cult, you do cultish things.
I know who the others are, but who is the woman in the top left ‘before / after’ view in that gallery? The ‘after’ looks like something out of a horror movie (shudder).
Laura Loomer.
But yeah, I can never remember all of them.
Ah, OK thanks. I know who Laura Loomer is, but I never would have ID’ed her from the ‘before’ normal look, and that ‘after’ pic is a particularly bad one of her. It looks like she’s wearing a serial killer mask. All she needs is some cheek rouge applied in a spiral shape…
It’s like some warped version of what was fashionable in the 80s, minus the big hair (though it looks like they’re starting to work on that, too).
Thinking on it further, that only makes sense. We have a senile, demented old man whose mores, values, and tastes are stuck well in the past.
It’s the same thing with the buildings and interior decor, not even an accurate reflection of what came before when he was in what passes for his prime but some tasteless, mutated version that instantly repulses anybody with a functional aesthetic sense.
Not to mention his railing against “communists,” and his penchant for outdated military gear.
If it’s bad plastic surgery, she had it down quite a while ago - here is a photo gallery back to 2014:
I looked because I was assuming the original photo was altered.
She’s copying the now popular Kash Patel look.
To echo @Folacin and @wguy123 , I was certain that picture is photoshopped. Then I looked at the other pics of her online. I wonder if the other women in the photo talk about her amongst themselves. Or, does she know what she looks like and turns to them for sympathy. I have very sparse and weirdly shaped eyebrows. I think about saving up to have permanent ones done and then I picture it coming out like that and that’s the end of that dream.
Are they subconsciously trying to look like blow up dolls? It’s clear they aren’t going for the “young and natural” look, so I wonder what they have in mind, and how they describe it to the suregeon / esthetician. Perhaps we do need a “Mar a Lago face” thread. It’s fascinating (to me) and there’s a lot more to it than just mocking these poor souls.
I think most of them are quite rich.

Rich enough to pay plastic surgeons for making them look like alien creatures.
The thing about plastic surgery is that the effects aren’t permanent. The filler used can degrade, or start to droop or clump after some period of time. Then the patient has to have more surgery to fix it back up…and so on. If you start down that road, you may end up looking significantly worse at the end of it than if you had never had it done at all.
I wonder how many surgeries these women have had. Even if it was well-done the first time (not a given), eventually they could end up with grotesque features like they have now.
e.g. Michael Jackson.
Could it just be conspicuous consumption? They’re getting obvious plastic surgery to show that they’re rich enough to afford it?
I started a thread a long while back asking what the purpose of plastic surgery was before Mar-a-Lago face was in the common vernacular. Conspicuous consumption was one of my theories. For this particular phenomenon, I think it’s about fitting in. It’s about signaling to their peers that they belong.
It’s not an unreasonable theory. History abounds with similar examples, like foot binding (heck, wearing high heels is different only in degree, not in kind there) or skull elongation.
