A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 3)

Since Trump considers himself an expert on the value of real estate, I wouldn’t be surprised if he comments on how they’ve let a lot of the buildings in Rome fall into a state of such disrepair. “They really haven’t maintained them. Sad!”

The problem is finding a brain to implant in his skull.

I imagine his body would welcome any, any other brain. But how would we get over a transplanted brain rejecting Musk?

Like many people, I have some severely deluded co-workers.

Their most recent take on the markets was "we were in a bubble, and this is a correction to the background trend with some natural day to day fluctuations.

The capacity of some people for self-delusion is remarkable.

“'Tis but a scratch”–The Black Knight

I thought Bidenomics had driven the markets to all-time lows?

(I know, Schrödinger has his fingers in everything where MAGA is concerned.)

Also if he sells it, he won’t be running it anymore which can only improve its prospects. The best thing Musk can do for anything or anyone is to stay away from it.

Over on Breitbart, it was a bubble caused by liberals, and now it’s market manipulation by liberals to hurt Trump.

I wish I were making that up.

I love how much power liberals have!

Why didn’t they just use that to win in 2024? Those idiots.

Schrodinger’s Liberal. Simultaneously unemployed, leaching off the government and wealthy enough to manipulate a $50 trillion market.

It was those Reefer Cigarettes! the squares were right all along!

…and he excitedly pictures the potential for future real estate development, like he did when he visited North Korea during trump 1.0.

“Such a beautiful city. Nobody knew Rome was so beautiful. Nobody. Except for that broken down Coliseum eyesore right in the middle of the city. Many people are saying, tear that old thing down and make way for new development! Some luxury condos, maybe a golf course.”

What a visionary!

They could replace it with a domed, dual-use stadium (being in Europe, it would be soccer and cricket) with retro-style Astroturf. Trump would probably suggest making it look like a scaled-up version of the Pantheon–classy! And then they could replace the actual Pantheon with condos and still have the stadium facsimile for the tourists to visit when games aren’t being played–brilliant!

Why not soccer and football? American football is a reasonably successful sport in Italy. Moreso than cricket, anyway.

Football and soccer fields are too similar in shape and size. You need to screw-up the fields and seating for both sports in the same stadium. It’s a comment on Trump’s real estate judgment and the MAGA desire to return to America’s glorious past.

Multi-purpose stadium

It is used most commonly in Canada and the United States, where the two most popular outdoor team sports—Canadian football or American football and baseball—require radically different facilities. Football uses a rectangular field, while baseball is played on a diamond with a large outfield.

In North America, multipurpose stadiums were primarily built during the 1960s and 1970s as shared home stadiums for Major League Baseball and National Football League or Canadian Football League teams.

As multipurpose stadiums were rarely ideal for both sports usually housed in them, they had fallen out of favor by the 1990s, with the SkyDome (in Canada) that opened in 1989 being the last such stadium completed to accommodate baseball and football.

While multipurpose stadiums were intended to easily accommodate both American football and baseball (and in some cases, association football), the fundamentally different sizes and shapes of the playing fields made them inadequate for either sport.

Point taken.

Why not The Fabulous Forum
?

I think it would be more in character for Trump to destroy a historic building like the Pantheon and replace it with a monstrous, dysfunctional, and crassly commercial replica of it that Trump would consider a superior version than replace it with something generically “Roman-looking” like the Forum in LA. Although I’m not sure, maybe Trump thinks the Forum is more authentically “Roman-looking” than the Pantheon. Trump’s not exactly a student of history.

Hell yeah! Italy is home to the Bologna Warriors!!!

Best football team name EVER.

They should play the The Zucchini Warriors - Wikipedia!

You could replace his brain with Quaker Oats and get a higher IQ.
