A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 3)

Man facing prison after fatally stabbing friend who brought up Trump bankruptcies.

The disagreement quickly escalated when Henry became convinced that Popp “was talking to him like he was stupid.”

You left out the best part, the Headline:

Florida man stabs friend to death in argument over ‘bankrupt’ Trump

Florida Man strikes again!

Were they arguing about Trump’s financial bankruptcy or his moral bankruptcy? Does it even matter?

Doesn’t feel very schadenfreude-y, the guy making fun of Trump’s bankruptcies got murdered, the other guy gets to live a lot longer.

According to court documents, Popp [the victim]was smoking marijuana when he made a comment about “Trump going bankrupt” — a statement that apparently enraged Henry [the murderer].

“Henry strongly believed that Donald Trump did not go bankrupt but instead chose the wrong individuals to do business with, which caused it to fail,” investigators wrote in their sworn statement. The disagreement quickly escalated when Henry became convinced that Popp “was talking to him like he was stupid.”

On editing the quote to make it clear who the individuals are to anyone who may not have read the whole thing yet, it occurred to me that ‘Henry the Murderer’ is a good character name.

Or you can look at it as a 38-year-old Trump supporter defended his Messiah, and now has to spend possibly the rest of his life in a cell.

I mean, Florida has the death penalty. Though this guy’s likely to get a pardon anyway.

“Stand your ground.” “It’s okay to run over and kill protesters if you feel threatened” “Neighborhood watchman can kill persons (black) walking through community”

It’s FLORIDA, pardon hell, probably won’t even be a trial.

I wonder what would happen if a group of large, young black men, all open carrying AR-15 style rifles, were just casually walking in a white neighborhood, or near government buildings.

The trial’s over. He’s been found guilty of 2nd Degree Murder.

Hank the Knife?

Oh the shark, babe, has such teeth, dear,
And it shows them, pearly white

Just a battery has old Mackheath babe
And he keeps it fully charged

The best part is “was talking to him like he was stupid”. Talk about proving your point.

The Black Panthers did that in 1967 (modulo the specific available firearm technology, of course). What happened was that white politicians from then-CA governor Ronald Reagan on down, pretty much to a man, crapped themselves in alarm and rushed to pass gun-control legislation.

Yes, I recall that now. I think it’s time for a redux.

I would worry that racist militancy and firepower have escalated to the point where groups of visibly armed large young Black men, even totally law-abiding ones, would provoke not a renewed societal commitment to gun control but simply more white-supremacist race massacres like the 1919 “Red Summer” race riots and Tulsa in 1921.

Trump Supporters ADMIT They Were FOOLED — And REGRET Their Vote

Some of the people there do confuse Medicaid with Medicare.

And by confusing the programs, a lot of them thought that they were not going to be affected when their Medicaid program that was cut was believed to be the less affected Medicare.

A Medicaid user not opposing cuts to Medicare is still baffling to me. Like… you think that because you’re not 65 yet, you’re never going to be 65? You’re just assuming that by the time you’re 65 and Medicare-eligible, some more responsible leader(s) will have restored the Medicare cuts, so you don’t need to worry about it now? What?

They’re just cutting fraud and waste.
