I liked that name (Mr. Cynical), and still like the person behind it. But now my mental image of you is all messed up. Please change it back.
I liked Mr. Cynical as a name, but what about something like–> Cynical Portnoy? I dunno, I think portnoy is rather brown and non descript, while Mr Cynical is a sharp blue green triangle-ish kinda shape.

I missed the fanfair of the change in the first place and I was perplexed by who this Portnoy person was, and why it knew me. Most importantly I had no idea if I should flirt with him/her or not! Damn androgyny! Not a Bloom reader so I was way out of the loop.

Why did Mr. Cynical change to Portnoy? Why did they let him? What’s with all this name changing? (B_Line12, Notthemama…) What’s going on here? Can anybody enlighten me? I mean, honestly…shouldn’t it be a lot less easy to just up and change your name, especially without some sort of mass notification so we can keep people straight?
Really, I do want to know why these people have changed their names.
For the record, Mr. Cynical is cooler but Portnoy seems more intellectual.

I was wondering where the old fart went. I figured he was up to his ass in shitty diapers and didn’t have time to post. Chalk the change up to sleep deprevation. Besides, he’ll have to change it back. We can’t have no babyportnoy around this place.

As for the name change thing, I’m undecided. I liked Mr. Cynical but, for some reason, Mr. Cynical did not. If he decides to keep the name Portnoy, fine. He’s still the same ol’ MrC to me. 
In keeping with my aspirations to someday be a co-moderator of that very forum, this is a polling type thread, and really belongs in IMHO.
