A Pit thread for Asahi

Ditka, for one, avoids visiting the Pit. That hardly makes him what you’re saying.

This is not a fair characterization and I’m not sure your earlier one that these guys think asahi is like a poster child speaking on behalf all Democrats is fair either.

Since I’ve already pointed it out to you in the other thread, I’ll have to now say that you’re making a fool of yourself if you can’t see that asahi’s use was obviously parody to mock people (specifically Northam, as he specifies) who he alleges still think in these terms.

There are certainly valid reasons to criticize asahi’s rhetoric, and I’ve been among the critics, but suggesting that he’s a white supremacist is simply idiotic.

You’re asking an awfully specific question, probably for a reason.

But you’re also violating one of the basic rules of courtesy: don’t answer a question with a question. But if you’d like to show your record of pitting conservative assholes, I’d love to see it. TIA.

That’s because Ditka – whom I think I would actually enjoy hanging out with IRL – can be a real coward at times. IMO, he doesn’t visit the Pit because he enjoys telling the world how dumb liberals can be, but can’t face the music himself.

Of course I have a reason - you made a claim, I was wondering if you could back it up.

I think an even more basic rule would be to back up an accusation, but that’s just me.

Regards,
Shodan

You know, if you want to know what a shit you are, you can look through your own posts. As a bonus, you won’t have to be bothered by any pittings you’ve done of your fellow conservatives.

Yes, you’re one of the cerebral leftists around here.

Lol, the images some people have of themselves. You must be an only child.

The amazing psychic WillF strikes again! Whose mind will he read next?

Read minds? I’m sorry, I just read the guy’s text. Perhaps your lifelong struggle with comprehension and context is coming to a head.

Or that they get when he posts.

You’re not getting much support for that claim here, as you may have noticed.

You’re not getting much support for that claim here, as you may have noticed.

If that’s really what he meant, he’d have used a similar word with a lower-case n.

So you read “cerebral” in a post that didn’t include that word? And you read the “image” he had of himself, despite the poster saying nothing about the image he had of himself? And you read about his birth order, despite the fact that he said nothing about his birth order?

I just assumed it was psychic ability, since you said a bunch of things about him that he didn’t include in his post. As is your wont – you routinely say things about posters (including me) that have nothing to do with their posts.

It was the way I read that post as well.

In all seriousness, is English a second language for you? You seem to do pretty well forming sentences, but when the author takes a half step away from the literal, you are like a lost puppy.

Zing! Next thing we know, that idiot iiandyiii is going to start a thread claiming that Donald Trump is the “peace candidate!” Boy, that would just PROVE that he’s a crank!

If you are claiming that anyone other than you thinks asahi is a white supremacist, or that the reason for the pitting was his statement of his personal beliefs about The Negro, you are totally clueless.

What do you imagine is the relevance of capitalization? Surely if anything that should make it more obvious to the irony-impaired that he was parodying Northam’s views.

Yes - since I plonked him, my stress level has gone way down.

That practice was invented by wild-eyed liberals a century ago as a sign of *respect *toward the race. Those intending disrespect continued not to use it, or the proper (Spanish) spelling, either.

Ah, of course the problem lies with me. The amazing WillF could never make such a mistake as to misread, misinterpret, or substitute his own preconceived notions in someone’s post!

Common, inferior folk like me might just prefer to respond to someone’s words. But those on another level, like your illustrious self, can go beyond mere words into intentions, motives, and even the underlying psyche of the stranger whose words you are analyzing! Truly, your abilities are beyond those of mere mortals like me!
