Well, no, that’s not fair. Compared to someone like ElvisLives, yeah, I consider myself cerebral. But my problem with asahi isn’t a lack of brains.
Of course that’s what asahi meant. It’s very difficult to read his post in any other way, especially in context of his other posts in the thread. It was a shitty bit of sarcasm, but obviously sarcasm.
And me. asahi’s use of the term was intentional, yes: intentionally used to uncharitably characterize the hypothetical thoughts processes of Northam.

To be fair I’m reading a novel iiandyiiii wrote (I’m not kidding, it’s a scifi book I bought through Kindle) so I don’t think this is true. It’s a good read.

I put him on ignore for this exact reason. I couldn’t take the doom and gloom predictions anymore, and his hysteria was making me roll my eyes too much.

Personally, I prefer Kirin Beer - not because it’s particularly good, but because it has a ki-rin on it, and I’m a nerd.
I really like Asahi Super Dry. It’s the perfect beer for drinking as cold as possible.
I won’t claim I’m qualified to say whether he should resign, or more accurately I don’t feel like taking a position. Everything is emotionally exhausting enough as it is. I trust the judgment of other party leaders that I also voted for, most notably Kaine and Warner. They think he should be out? So be it. I’m sure they’ve reviewed the evidence and determined the political calculus.
I’m slightly concerned that as soon as Northam resigns the other shoe will drop on Fairfax, and then it’ll be the same circus all over again, and maybe it should be, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t a concern politically.
I once had a pair of Asahi shoes. Used them till they fell apart.
