No, it’s not like that. It’s like I didn’t cut you off in traffic, but you say I did.
You hold me in disregard at least in part because of things that didn’t happen outside your head. Which is fine - being despised by idiots is not nearly as bad as you might think.
No offense, I hope, but you are kind of missing the point. Ravenman tried to accuse me of something I haven’t done, and “now you have to Pit a non-liberal to prove you didn’t do it” very much misses the mark.
:shrugs: It’s the Pit. No one expects sensible debate.
The upshot of the criticism is that you don’t criticize conservatives. You decided to narrow that down to a particular question in order to deflect from the main point of your egregiously partisan behavior.
Heh, I love reading a zombie thread I don’t recognize, then I see something I’m tempted to respond to, then see later in the thread that I’d already responded that way years ago.
I had an experience like that recently. I was reading people writing about the purpose of the Pit. I went to the sticky at the top of the forum to see what the purpose of the Pit really was.
To my amusement, then embarrassment, I was one of the people who posted in the sticky note and had forgotten all about it. I could probably stand behind most of my posts in that thread, but I’m finding myself in disagreement on some parts of that thread. For my consolation though, it’s obvious that no one reads it or it would have been taken down.
We are going to owe asahi an apology if what he thinks will happen in next year’s election (which I fear as well), happens. Republicans have made a lot of moves designed to disenfranchise millions of Dem voters and few even here seem to believe that, having loaded the gun, they’ll pull the trigger.
