Yes. For example, blue and orange - I have blue eyes, and when I wear the orange complement as eyeshadow, they POP.
Female here. I like cool/cold colors: black, gray, blue, purple, green. My least liked color (at least in the list here) is brown, though I do like natural browns (hair, leather, wood, etc.) just fine.
Probably my least favorite colors are “bug green” (yellowish green) and brownish yellow.
Female. I like the whole blue spectrum from the purples through the blue-greens.
My least favorite is white.
Male, least favorite is close to French Beige. The best(worst) mixture of puke, mud, and blood.
Favorite color alternates between purple and grey depending on mood.
Blue, followed by Red, is the best. It works for paint, cars, clothing, eye color, furniture…everything.
Yellow, however, is useless. It’s obnoxious. Anything made to stand out (clothes, cars) would be better off red. Anything that’s made to be subdued (walls, carpets) are better off beige, white, or brown.
Ditto. Looks like a couple others of us, too. 
Female. My favourite is green, my least favourite is orange.

I’m a “winter.” I also love to rock black, white, red, blue, green, pink, and anything in the range of plum/magenta/orchid/fuchsia. I also avoid yellow and brown.
I’ll put it this way: Écru (very pale beige) works for me as a neutral, when I need a neutral, almost like another sort of white. Especially in a fabric like chiffon or georgette. Or linen. But brown brown, no thanks.
Ugh! Can you say clash? (Not the band, I like the band.) That combination is one of the most jarring.
Yellow is my fave; I hate brown. Unlike most people in the poll, blue is a colour that really bores me, that I never wear or choose for anything in my environment.

Lately, I’ve seen a color approximating avocado green appearing in the same old places it used to back in the seventies. Why would anyone bring back that abomination of a color? I’d pretty much blissfully forgotten how ugly it was.
Somehow blue and green are the best-liked colors for both genders.
Back in 1983, when I was in high school, my sociology teacher said blue was the favorite color of most Americans and purple the least favorite. I was shocked because purple has always been my favorite color. Green and grey follow, in order, and purple and green together are sublime.
I think there are a lot of young girls who like pink, but a lot more who “love” pink because it is foisted upon them, and they think they are supposed to, because it is “girly.”
I was actually turned off to pink for quite a while when I was younger because of that.
But as people mature, their tastes become more independent, and you are left with the women who really like pink on its own merits.
As for me, it isn’t my favorite color by a long shot, but I do like it more now.
Same here. I grew up before pink was shoved down girls’ throats as bad as it is now, but I mostly hated it as a kid. I still don’t like “baby pink.” The only pink I like is the wild fluorescent “burn your eyes out” shade. I once had a hockey stick in that color, and it got quite a few compliments from both genders.
