A post-Christmas MMP

**Dotty **- glad your treatment is almost over - I bet that’ll be a huge relief for you, too!

Midget, sweetie, you can’t seem to catch a break! Good thoughts headed your way.

I think I’m done with the sewing. The kids finished building the cat tower. It’ll break down to 3 large and 3 small plywood panels and 10 large dowels. They can carry it easily in their car. **FCD **designed it - he done good! Daughter is going to upholster the 3 platforms, and when they get it to FL, they’re going to put polyeurethane on all the exposed surfaces for protection. They they’ll assemble the whole thing to their kittehs’ delight!

My sweetie is napping. The kids went to his mother’s place for something, so Cozmo is distressed - he misses his mommy. :frowning:

And I’s tahred.

Cat tower news.

Ha! The tower! Necessary equipment for any kitteh territory.

My feline overlords didn’t get a new tower this time, but Santa did bring them a slanted catnip scratching board (instead of the lump of coal they richly deserved). They haven’t quite figured it out yet. Evie keeps crawling underneath and knocking it over. The others just sit and sniff. Too much catnip, I guess.

flytrap, that looks like the castle my cats had years ago. They managed to remove the flag on their own. :stuck_out_tongue:

I took a nice ride this afternoon, picked up some bamboo skewers for the ojos de Dios, did a load of laundry, vaccuumed and made zoodle shrimp scampi for supper (there was enough garlic in that to keep the vampires at bay for the next week). Time to kick back and work in the studio.

Thanks, Moooooom.

Do they have cows in Canada? :dubious:

Well, it’s back to irk for me tomorrow. This will be the busiest week of the year. Gonna be nuts.

I sure do miss Swampy. And Rosie.

I worked, I came home, making leftovers for dinner.

I had mine out last week. I had to fill the shelves up with something.

Yeah, just when you think it’s over, Wham! another one hits.

Butters, I miss The Cute One[sup][sup]TM[/sup][/sup], too.:frowning:

Feel better, Midget!

I was going to say another one bites the dust ------------ but that was 1991. :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh, and while I’m here ---------

TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND RELATIVES IN WESTERN PA TO START BUYING FROM DA JUNGLE AGAIN!
Our volume was so slow today that they sent me home after 3 hours and cancelled two entire shifts :smack:

They do in Quebec province, I’ve seen many there; but those cows moo in French. Any in the the other provinces do it Canadian style, “Moooooo, eh.” :stuck_out_tongue:

I just knew we could count on you for that bad pun. Just go (go) but don’t wake me before, pleeeease!
Didn’t make it to Carnegie Deli for a last meal there, but did have soup & a knish @ Mendy’s. Got a new (to me) bag, well, getting it. They’ll ship it for free, but if I took it with me, I’d have to pay sales tax. Also got something that was sold out weeks ago; guess they found a box in the backroom. Not only was it no longer online, but when I called they said it was sold out & #2 was physically there & said they wuz cleaned out.

I miss rosie, too. I saw toy gefilte fish at Petco yesterday and I wanted so bad to tell her about them so she could get some for Smokey. :frowning:

OK, something’s very wrong. I slept till nearly 6!! I did wake once around midnight - **FCD **had let Ziva out of the bedroom, but she wanted back in, so she was throwing herself at the door… or something. Sounded like a big football player trying to knock the door down!! Anyway, I got up and let her in, then crashed again.

I was having a weird dream that I was on a cruise with one of my sisters and an old friend from high school. I lost my glasses, so as I walked around, everything was a blur. At one point, I was shot at by a guard on the ship (oddly enough, I saw the bullet as it whizzed by!!) There was more strangeness, then I heard Higgs barking, so I decided it was time to get up.

Turns out, my daughter had already fed the dogs. She’s gone back to bed, and I just finished some 'nanner bread. It’s crazy warm outside and we’re expecting mid-60s today, and I decided it was safe to open the window in the stairwell. Taz will like that, I’m sure.

The kids leave sometime tomorrow, and bf’s brother is going to stay here tonight (he’d flown up last week but he’s driving back with them tomorrow.) I need to do what I can to clear the futon in the smallest/junk room. That’s the very futon that I stacked all my yarn on last week. I figure as long as he has a path in and out, he should be OK. And I need to dig up some sheets, which isn’t that big a deal.

Still haven’t cleaned the fridge either.

Anyway, the day has begun. Happy Tuesday!!

Sorry, kopek: I buy from your bosses but I’m not in western PA.

I wanna buy a computer monitor I can set vertical without needing to also buy an octopus holder or make holes in a wall, but I need an excuse to get rid of the old one. Dunnow what’s the point of having relatives if they’re not going to pick one’s handmedowns :stuck_out_tongue:

Of course.

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. I’m off today, maybe I’ll clean the kitchen.

Aw, c’mon, **doggio **- you’re “off” most every day. But we still lurves ya!

**FCD **is up, showered, and dressed. I should probably do the “showered and dressed” thing myself.

OK, to the shower with me now!!

And I’m showered and dressed - for home, anyway. If we decide to venture forth, I’ll need to change out of the sweatpants and slippers. But for now, I’m clean and comfy.

“Normal” is merely a setting on my washing machine.

Well, you’re overdressed for :eek:Wally World:eek:, and under dressed for anywhere else.

We have not plants to go to Wally World, but we will be moving a bunch of aluminum from one part of the basement to another, so I’ll probably need real shoes at one point. But for the moment, I’m going to try to ready to futon for a guest tonight. Where to shove all the yarn???

Blowing off work today for something much more important; the annual trip to see TSO live! And where they play is the only place in Western PA to get RC on tap. DOUBLE SCORE!!! Some hockey games happen there as well but who bothers going to hockey games these days? Goalies with masks, few good fights ------ not worth the effort.
