Arjuna, Arjunus, Arjunis, Arjune… is unclear and confusing. There are Danams and Danafs, Marionms and Marionfs, etc. DrDoom is probably DrDoomm, as most doctors are. Scilla likes to be called “bitch”, it’s up to her. If somebody had a handle “whore”, I’d refer to her as “she”.
Continuing with the apologetic mode being exhibited so far, I apologize for inducing Crunchy to post that mischievous link. I was well aware that such a request was out of line and, even though I phrased it as a joke, I was secretly hoping that someone would bend the rules a bit and help me out .

Scylla is male. I had the same confusion you are having now regarding his gender upon arriving at this board. I have really been meaning to ask him why he choose that name since in Greek Mythology Scylla is supposed to be a female monster.
I can’t tell if you’re kidding about Chronos changing the link or not, but he didn’t. I linked it to the Sesame Street site, because if I had linked it to a real porn site, I’m sure that Chronos (and the other mods and admins) would’ve been much harsher with me than what you see posted here.

Really? That’s a pretty big assumption. A random sample of statistical sites found that in Austria, England, and Israel, the percentage of female medical doctors is currently 35%, and the percentage of female medical students in training in all three countries is 50%, meaning that the ratio is evening out. IIRC, these are the percentages in the U.S. as well.
Of course I don’t think that “Dr. Doom” refers to a medical degree, so your gender assumption is even less relevant in this case.

Now I feel like a complete moron. I assumed from the tone of your initial reply to my pseudo-serious request that you were REALLY providing a veritable link. After reading Chronos’ reaction I assumed that, judging by the name of the link, he must have changed it.
Anyway, I now realize that since I didn’t induce anyone to post any porn I should not have apologized. So I am formally withdrawing my apology and pleading to all dopers not to send any porn to my e-mail address. Although I really wouldn’t mind if any of you did.

I now zilch about editing porno magazines but I cant tell you this, Hugh Hefner’s bunch is doing a lousy job in the US. Way too many articles and few picture galleries. The Mexican version of Playboy contains a much more ample supplement of pictures than its American counterpart.
I really have no idea why they waste so much space on articles that detract from the pictorial quality of the magazine. Everyone I talk to feels the same way. Maybe Playboy should hire Smartt as their new editor.
Oh yes, I don’t buy Playboy. Fortunately, on occasion a friend of mine will, or someone might goodheartedly drop a nice link to a porn site in my e-mail address. Gotta go now, it’s been a while since I last checked my inbox.
